Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I've read abt not counting your haul until the end of the nite, in order to stay motivated & have that 'special treat' feeling, but while I agree w/ it I've nvr been able to make it work for me. I always like to know exactly what I've made, I guess b/c of my anxiety the 'special treat' feeling for me comes in knowing that I've made my first goal (or 2nd, or 3rd) & am On my way! To achieving my nxt.
Sm times my anxiety/depression is so bad that even imminent bills can't force me to go in to work. Still I set goals lately for $200/wk nite (summer season) & $350+/wk ends. Small but achieveable as I admit that I get discouraged easily.
As for longer-term goals, I'm shooting for debt-freedom in the nxt month to month-&-a-half, rebuilding my savings by the end of this yr & getting my flt stuff current again.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
My goals change depending on the night. I try not to go in with a set number-- I find it just stresses me out and then I'm depressed if I don't make it. I always hope for 30 dances, but I'm not really set on it.
I tend to go in fives. I just keep focusing on getting another five dances. If I have seven dances and I'm with a customer, I just really focus on getting him to do three. If I get that I get a little ego boost and then move on to the next five. I like to do about 20 dances a night because it means I'll pull in over $600 which is what I want, but getting there and being like "ok 20 dances!" feels overwhelming and stressful to me. Focusing on the five just feels more manageable.

Please don't feel silly while looking at other peoples' numbers! Here's my mini-rant on comparing numbers.
Everyone lives in different cities, and every city has different costs of living. If you're living in downtown Manhattan, you'd better be making $500-$1k/night or you probably won't be able to comfortably cover your costs of living. If you're living in a small town in Iowa, making $1k could cover an entire month of expenses, so you don't need to make nearly that much to be happy. Also, every club is set up differently and has its own implicit earnings ceiling (as dictated by the private dance prices, upsell options, etc.). If you're working in a club with $10 dances, you can't really compare your earnings to someone who lives in San Francisco and is selling $100+ private dances (and that's just for one private dance!). Most cities don't even have clubs in them that are set up intelligently enough for you to consistently make 'a lot' of money. Aaaand... everyone works a different number of shifts a week with a different number of hours (women working one day a week for 8+ hours will usually set higher goals than those working 3-4 shifts). Furthermore, everyone on here has a different baseline for "cost of living." For some people, a basic expense may be buying a new designer purse once a month. Other people may just want to make enough so they can shop in the nice cheese section in the grocery store every now and then. We are all soooo different.
Threads like these are only helpful if you're someone who gets positively motivated by hearing about what other people are making. At the end of the day, all that really matters is that you can comfortably cover your living expenses while staying reasonably sane. :)

When I start dancing in London my goal is £100 per night. I know that this is low lol but I want to start low so I'm not disappointed lol

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I work in the coooountry. It's literally a little dive in a little town. My cost of living is next to nothing because I live at home, so my nightly goals are 150-250. Of course I've had much better nights though. But that is rare. Making above that for our club isn't impossible but I can't usually do it and I'm always in the top three. I work 2-3 times a week.

Charlie Rocks!
Anyway, I try to write down goals weekly, mostly once a mo. though. I've always made them!
Also, I belong to & watch LOA vid's on Glamour Rouge's LOA Group, (see the LOA sticky in Hustle Hut)

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I'm a camgirl, not a dancer, but when I break it down to "earn $25...ok, now earn $50" that is SO much easier to manage and achieve vs "earn $100!!!" Once you achieve one small goal, you feel good enough to do another.

I feel the same way... I work 3 nights a week and hope to make at least $1500 for the week. I've never failed so far, as the good nights balance out the bad, but the bad nights do make you feel so crappy. On weekdays/nights I can usually only average around $400-450. On the weekends usually anywhere from $600-$1100. However, I've had some shitty weekends occassionally. My overall average at the club is slightly below $600. I too am one of the top earners....which I guess is pretty sad for the club in general. I think you also have to look at factors like how much touching girls allow and whether they give out their numbers to customers. I don't allow touching, and I've never given a customer my personal contact information. I think those things make it harder to make good money.

My goal is 1200-1500 a week.. I want to make 5k a month!

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
With me, it depends on a few factors....how high the house fee is, how slow/dead it is, how far I have to travel.
If it's somewhere nearby and there's a 10 dollar or less housefee I don't scoff at 100 dollars, but I hope to make more, and am disappointed if I make less.
If it's a higher end club with a higher house fee and/or further I set my goal closer to 300 dollars and up for it to be worth it.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I work 3 nights a week and I always aim for $2,000+ weekly. though its slow lately so I'm happy to get anywhere between $1,000 - $1,500. times are tough

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I used to set goals at work $500-$600 for a dayshift- but the last bunch of shifts I worked were so dead and and slow, I just ended up disappointing myself. Lol
When I work out of town, the first shift I work is usually how I gauge what I should earn nightly or daily for the rest of the week. For example, if the first shift is on a Monday and I make $400, I set that as the minimum goal for Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday to Saturday I would aim for 20% more each shift. Personally, if I am taking time away from my life and my family to work out of town I've got to be making $300+ each day to consider it worth my while for a week.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
My goal is at least $500 for the night. I work 4x a week... and expect an average of $2000-2500 a week!

Hehehe... This made me giggle. We are over here complaining about making $1500 a week. But yeah, 2K/wk is always what I want. I don't get it half the time, but I'm getting better.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
At this point, my goal each week is to just bring myself to work. It's such a chore for me to work just twice a week. Sometimes I'll go weeks without working. If I could bring myself to work just 3x a week I'd be extremely happy with myself.

I had this issue, too. In the beginning (before I became a serious hustler), I'd work 2-3x/week and I was happy to make $100-300 for each shift (which was considered average in my club). But as I started burning out and started working less, I felt increasing pressure to make higher amounts of money per shift. So I would spend days just working myself up to go into the club. And feeling that sort of pressure is not fun. It led to more burnout. And the cycle continued...
I really wish I could have stayed in that innocent newb phase for longer. Sure, I was making less money per shift, but I had far more fun with the job and worked more often - it was much more sustainable that way. I remember loving dancing. Fuck, I miss those times.

Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
When I work, I do three days per week and expect at the least 2000-2500 per week. If I can easily pull more I work longer
-
Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I'm trying to figure out how much people actually work in hours per week. Saying "x times a week" doesn't tell me: if your shifts are 4 hours each, that's a big difference compared to 8-hour shifts. ETA: mucho appreciated if folks indicate shift length. Fanks.
-
Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
my shift lengths are about 6 hours but if I feel I will bank easy I will stay however long I feel, I end up doing 8 frequently on fri or sat.
-
Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
I'm so surprised many of you work so little. I work five days a week, 6-7 hours per night. Always have.
-
Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
^^I find myself too tired for all that, I like to rest, do what I need to do for myself/life and then focus on work on those three consecutive days otherwise it reflects in my attitude and looks. I wish I had the patience to go in on slow days but I just don't, I have none and i cannot help but show it when I am bored :/
-
Re: What are your nightly/ weekly goals and motivations?
Working 8 to 9 hour shifts I shoot for at least $300 during the week and no less than $500 on weekends. I work 5 or 6 nights a weeks so I'm always pooped.
I just read some had the idea of not counting until ur leaving. I do that sometimes and it's a great motivator. I don't always meet my goal but I always work hard like I don't have a dollar to my name.
