Please remove your link to the stock image. It is very important to be discreet in this industry. Any performer who needs information on where to get content should use Google to locate sites that sell legal adult content that complies with US 2257. One can also send PMs to other performers for information on reputable sites. PLEASE stop posting sensitive information so openly on a public forum. Even though we are in the adult industry we must always remember to conduct ourselves with the highest degree of discretion and professionalism.
Loreen,
You are also encouraging the use of stock images. Most people use stock images incorrectly. Stock images are often licensed for personal use only. To use that image or any other stock image on a Niteflirt listing you would need to obtain a commercial license. Most operators do not know this. Even stock images obtained from free stock image sites need to be accompanied by the proper license in order to be used on a Niteflirt listing which would be deemed a form of commercial use. Do not encourage operators to use content that they might be prohibited from using. It hurts our industry. It can also land an operator in big trouble without her knowing.
Seriously, this is the wrong information for providers. First of all, do any of these stock photos keep in line with the US 2257 law? Because Niteflirt is a US company and they are governed by Child Protection and Obscenity Enforcement Act of 1988, which states the content you use needs proof that everyone is 18 and over in them. All adult companies must follow the 2257 law after the Traci Lords underage incident.
We all know that stock photo companies do not actively enforced this requirement due to these companies being non-adult and for personal use. Secondly, if someone are going to use stock photos then they need commercial license to use them on Niteflirt. Third, that photographer that you suggested does not have an active website and you can not asked him for model releases and proof his models are 18. So, it is best for everyone to go on GFY.com marketing and asked for the content they need :)
Hi Dona,
Thank you for making such excellent points. Unfortunately, most people do not understand the stock image industry. They do not understand that these images often cannot be used in the adult industry. To get the proper information/documentation to use these images in the adult industry is often impossible. It is best to spend the money and just use legal adult content that complies with US 2257.
Loreen,
You did not remove the link to the image. You were asked politely by 3 members (myself included) to remove the link. You refused. Thank goodness that PhatGirlDynomite is a very proactive and professional moderator. She removed the link.
Also stock image sites do not give you any documentation confirming a model's age or any documentation confirming a model's consent to being photographed. You would need to obtain that from the actual photographer and not the stock image site.
Yes please move along guys.
I'm curious about how much you ladies budget for your featured listing bids, and where you usually want your listing to be
I used to set the budget around $10 and just let the bid ride for as long as it could. If it's affordable, I bid to be in the top 12. If it's a very busy category, like Mistresses, I'll bid to be in the top 50. These days, I usually set the budget to ten times whatever the bid amount is. (So, if I'm bidding $0.30, I set the budget to $3.00). I'm finding bidding way less effective for me these days, so I just test it out once in a while to see if it brings in a few calls. Most of the time, I just end up spending the money for nothing.
Don't assume all successful flirts bid... Or bid more than every now and then.
For some flirts, bidding a ton works. For others, not bidding at all works. For others, bidding every now and again works. You need to find what works for you. Just make sure you don't use the "No Expiration" option for bidding at first. Most flirts will not tell you exactly what they budget and where their best listing(s) are, not so much because they are trying to guard a secret, but because results will vary so much depending on the character, how good of a marketer overall you are, your listing, etc. I do not bid all my characters, and some that don't get bid do well. It just all depends...
Hi Ladies, I have been focusing heavily on niteflirt lately and i have come across a customer who in the last 2 days has spent $1400 in tributes to me and $1,998 in amazon gift cards. He initially called my financial domination line and i ran with it but now i am starting to wonder if this is what financial domination guys are like. I mean this guy is sending me so much so soon that i can't help but wonder if he is fraud. But how can i tell? So far all of the gift cards are going through ok, but the tribute payments wont hit my bank until a few more days. If it's legit this is amazing as i have never made this much so soon over the phone, however i am worried on how he is obtaining the money and if i will get into trouble somehow with niteflirt or even amazon. his gift cards have been sent in the following amounts....$555, $666, $777 this is one of the reasons i was concerned and i redeemed them immediately and ordered all kinds of stuff laptop, camera, upgraded all my equipment lol but i am concerned. Anyone ever have a customer like this? what do we do if we suspect it's fraud?
If he is using a stolen credit card, there will likely eventually be a chargeback on NF and you would lose the money, even if it has already been deposited in your bank account. (I think you'd have a negative balance on NF, not that they'd actually take the money back out of your bank account.) I'm not sure what would happen with Amazon.
You could try sending in a support ticket to NF and asking them if he's a reputable customer. If this is a new behavior for him, or he's a new customer, they might be suspicious as well.
It's not uncommon in my experience for guys to drop those kinds of tributes in findom. I will also add that I have not had a chargeback in all of my years on NF.
Can be legit, but in cases of sudden large amounts of tributes from callers new to you, NF has always told me to send an email to them just alerting them that you have been getting a lot of tributes from a caller new to you in a short time. Basically tell them you have no real fear of fraud, but just wanted to make sure they were aware.
The reason is, last year well known innocent flirts (plural) temporally had their listings removed after a case of certain customers doing credit card fraud. The flirts were innocent (at least the ones I am aware of), and their listings later put back up, but days without calls adds up to no money. NF basically said that any flirt getting large amounts of tribute money within a small amount of time, esp from callers new to them, should just shoot NF CS a note making sure they are aware. That way, if the charges are fraudulent, and NF starts pulling listings again, they would see that you alerted them.
So go ahead and keep doing great financial domination, and getting those tributes. But cover your ass with NF just in case there is a later issue.
How do I contact customer service?
Has anyone experienced FL calls not showing up in FL results? This has happened twice to me this week; the first time I wrote support and they were able to associate the call with the LSV value but he still doesn't show up in my FL customers list. Last night I had another FL callalso not show up in my transactions. I've sent them another message but I really am frustrated with having to go through the bids and clicks with a fine tooth comb to make sure my conversions count. Is this just a fluke?
Go to my account and look in the bottom line for flirt help. Click that and a submenu appears with three options where you can create your request. That's also where the link to the flirt forums are, just throwing that in there because it took me a long time to figure that out, LOL.
PS sorry for the ginormous screen shot I tried to edit and delete it out but not seeing the option.
Anybody having trouble with Skype here? When I have a customer add me it takes over 5 minutes or more for them to show up for me to add them. Any suggestions please?
^There is a bug with Skype since the new version came out. It affects all the versions, so rolling back the update won't help. New contact requests are appearing in the web version and the mobile version of Skype, but taking forever on the desktop version. If you keep Skype open in a browser or your phone, you can add the new contacts there, and then they'll appear in your desktop version.
The bug sucks, and considering that it's widespread, they're taking forever to fix it. Just be glad you only waited 5 minutes - some people have reported waiting DAYS for new contacts to show up.
I'm a soon to be cam girl and I was thinking about signing up with NF and AW. I have a little real life experience with findom and being dominant and I've been learning from domme videos and this forum. I'm thinking about doing findom, hypnosis, and foot stuff.
For you ladies who use AW and NF, are you currently meeting your financial goals with both of these sites? If you use more than these two sites, is your most of your income from both of these sites?
I've read that cam girls cant solely rely on one site so I thought two would be good but I've also been reading the camming sucks and camming rocks threads. Are these two sites enough? I hear the regulars on both sites can be very loyal and generous but I do see some cam girls on SW having 3-5 sites in their signature so I wonder if it's realistic for a beginner to start off with a goal of $400 - $500 a week and meet that goal with 2 sites selling audio, texts, and camming.
