Re: How to look more "fake"
Hair extensions, regardless of whether your hair is short or already long. Always wear more hair.
False eyelashes. Learn them, wear them, be friends with them.
Highlighting your cheek bones and the bridge of your nose with a shimmer powder gives you that plastic-y look.
Tan yourself.
Above all just decide what look you are most comfortable with, and rock that. If going to work without a lick of makeup on makes you feel queen of your world, do that. If wearing every makeup item in your kit makes you feel that way, do that. If the plastic barbie look is what makes you feel sexy, do that... It's really all about perfecting the look that makes you feel a million bucks. Because when you feel that way, you bank.
Re: How to look more "fake"
Definitely hair extensions! Make sure your hair is soft, shiny, and well taken care of. You should also get a tan. Spray on is best! Make sure your nails are well manicured and neat.
Even if you're already thin, work on getting a tighter, toned body.
Bleach your teeth. I have used several brands and I think Rembrandt is the best.
Eat well and it will show! Fruits, vegetables, lean meat, fish, etc. And tons of water!
For the ultimate hot Barbie look, save up for some boobies!
If you want to practice dancing, practice in the mirror and watch YouTube videos.
Re: How to look more "fake"
Awesome, thanks girls!
Boobies, ugh I wish. Maybe after a year of dancing...
Definitly working on my tan (easy in SoCal) and hitting the gym at least 5 days a week. I guess I need to get better at doing hair and make up. I have long hair but might consider extensions.
I hate the feeling of wearing fake lashes. Makes me feel like butterflies have died on my eye lids. But I guess I'll have to get used to that. How often do you wear yours before you buy new ones?
Re: How to look more "fake"
Have you ever been to a strip club? We're not all fake hot Barbie dolls. Actually, the majority of strippers aren't. You'd be surprised how lucrative the girl next door look is! Honestly, I'd recommend auditioning and working a shift or two before investing much into your appearance if you're doing it just for work. Get to know the clientele and what looks win them over, and THEN start switching things up.
Re: How to look more "fake"
Oh no I wasn't trying to say you guys all look like fake Barbie dolls! I know that's not true and I hope I didn't offend anyone.
I was just trying to say I look really plain Jane.
Though I did hear that in the city I live in (LA) most clubs want that Barbie look. I guess I'll find out.

Re: How to look more "fake"
Thank you :)
That lingerie pic was taken after a girl spent an hour doing my hair and make up. If I could hire her before every shift I'd be fine haha
Re: How to look more "fake"
I'm sure you could learn, you have great stuff' to work with...have you looked on youtube? I personally get a lot of ideas from magazines especially the teen ones..Sephora & Ulta have makeup people for demonstrations
Re: How to look more "fake"
No but I'll start practicing...
Are there any make up youtube channels you like?
Re: How to look more "fake"
I made more in la as plain jane than barbie. sometimes I wore no makeup at all and put my hair in a ponytail and wore a t shirt.
Re: How to look more "fake"
OJ - totally not offensive, don't worry! It's just that a lot of new girls have that idea of strippers and think that they won't make money if they don't look like that as well. Meanwhile, standing out is good, and that's not always the big money making look anyway. I stand by my recommendation of just auditioning at the club looking your best and then seeing how it goes. If they reject you and all the girls in the club look like Barbies, sure, work on your appearance that way. But you may as well start making money now if you can!

Seriously! I never wear make up and will, at most, straighten my hair. My outfits are pretty girl next door too, like a crop top or a mini dress. Clients dig that shit, and really and truly comes down to your hustle anyway.
Re: How to look more "fake"
I see OP has already been banned, but my response for other readers anyway: I agree that looking tanned achieves that "fake hot" look, but please use a spray or cream, ladies! You will not look any kind of hot with skin damage, premature aging, or melanoma :( I'm the whitest person in the room most days, and I make plenty of money.
Another vote for nice nails and fake lashes. I don't think every girl needs hair extensions, even wanting to be fake hot. I would add teeth whitening and doing your makeup with crisp lines, particularly with the eyes. I'd say do a scotch tape smoky eye and a pink or neutral lip with facial contouring.
Edit: re: my makeup terminology, I suppose a smoky eye, by definition, can't have crisp lines, but you may find tutorials for the look under those terms, or just under "scotch tape eye makeup." Realistically, it is probably more of a dark defined gradient eye, but I doubt you will find may YouTube videos under that.
Re: How to look more "fake"
Thanks, wonder why she's banned? Anyway yea, I am interested in this thread, I'm going to start auditioning..is it good to wear fake nails? Mine are bleh right now, though they do grow fast..I'm always afraid the fake's coming flying off, same w/lashes.
I heard the lashes can irritate eyelid skin, & I'm kinda sensitive.
My damn teeth are sensitive too, I like the Crest 3 D toothpaste, I also have Listerine whitening mouthwash.
Also, I have been tanning a bit, I always wear Neutrogena Beach Defense spf 70 on my face, spf stick 50 on body..but my bad knee really benefits from the sun, so I've been tanning my legs outside for short periods of time
As for the hair, I think mine's ok, it's long somewhat medium thick. I was thinking of clip on bangs though
Re: How to look more "fake"
Want to chime in that:
I've made more money rocking the brunette nerd with glasses art school student look than I ever did as a blonde. There are other factors like experience to consider, but generally I feel this look suits who I am way more than the barbie look did, and I attract more big spending customers because this look FITS with my personality more, therefore the whole dancer package is more cohesive and better branded to speak in marketing terms. I love all the IT nerds and computer geeks because we have a lot in common usually, and I've noticed they tend to be into the darker hair...and the geek glasses with stripper heels are apparently a deadly combo ;) I also feel more "pretty" with this look, when I was bleached blonde I did it just for work and then got a lot of unwanted street attention too to boot. I think it's partially my city, blondes here are like unicorns so...if I ever moved somewhere more...white(?)...I might try platinum blonde again but otherwise...no thank you! Just my 2 cents for other ladies who come accross the thread :)
Re: How to look more "fake"
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the fake look, so if you want to look fake here is what to do starting from the top down.
1. I know it has been said before on this thread but if your hair isn’t long get hair extensions. Also if you can pull it off dye your hair blonde.
2. Now your make-up must resemble that of a pornstar. Think dark, penciled in eyebrows, Smokey eyes, and glossy pink lips.
3. On that note also get fake eyelashes, the longer the better.
4. Whiten your teeth
5. Get a tan but don’t overdo it. The orange look is never attractive.
6. If you don’t already have big tits get fakes ones and get them BIG!
7. When you do your nails make sure to do get a French with white tips. Squared off just like a pornstar.
Re: How to look more "fake"
i was curious why she was banned too -
Re: How to look more "fake"
Go to mac, have them teach you how to do ur make up, get hair extensions, die your hair and cut it stylish, then wear bright, hot clothes, that will "unplain" you..

Well, I'll still answer. When I'm going for the super fake "Barbie" look, I wear my hair stick straight (my hair is already long, so I don't wear extensions), black eyeliner on my top and bottom lash lines, white eyeshadow in the inner corner of my eye, and a pale/milky pink lipstick. Maybe a lip gloss in a similar color on top ... And lots of mascara or false eyelashes. A bit of light bronzer and a lot of pink blush and BAM.
This is exactly the look I'm going for..I don't think I can wear the eyeliner on the bottom though cause my eyes are small? I have the individual lashes (elf) but want to get the good Duo glue, plus I need tweezers to apply.
Re: How to look more "fake"
^You could line your waterline with white or cream liner, then line the outer lash line with your dark color!

What's the water line? The inner eye part? lol, there's a song: "Down to the Waterline" by Dire Straits

Re: How to look more "fake"
hey whirlez, i know you probably already had this answered for you but for awhile i was sooo scared to line my bottom and top lash line in black because my eyes are small and almond shaped but i wear white eyeshadow over my whole eyelid and especially brow bown and crease..then line all the way around in black flicking the upper corner out to shape a cat-eye and then when you do the water line in white also..POW! huge eyes. fake eyelashes that are curled make them even bigger. lining the bottom actually makes them look bigger when you do that IMO. just don't make the line super thick. really makes them pop with the contrast
to do the barbie look, the little touches really add up. like,
long fake nails ( french manicure is my favorite, they always look so clean)
long fake lashes
earrings/jewelry
pedicure
make sure the eyebrows look very neat, arched, an defined
teeth whitening
a fake tan is a must
dangly/hoop earrings
your hair should look like you try, whether straight or curled at the bottom. teased slightly at the top. i think you can have any color hair and still look "fake barbie" but blond is the most classic barbie look.
i would keep piercings very minimal, i think a tiny nose stud would be the max
