I am going to build a cam site infographic
Hello Ladies. I am a graphic designer / new cam model. I have spent the last month reading a ton of excellent information here. I've also had a lot of my questions answered within the chat app (thank youuuuu)
I am going to build an infographic and lay out all the information I have been saving to share with anyone that wants it. It will be a comparison against all the cam companies.
I am starting this thread to get some more feedback.
These are the cam sites I was going to compare (feel free to tell me if you think i should add more or remove some)
MFC
Streamate
Naked
LiveJasmin
Imlive
Chaturbate
Cam4
I was thinking of comparing them on
Traffic
% of usa traffic
Average Girls Online
Earnings Per hour AVG
Amount of Users in Top Cam Position
Amount of users in Bottom Cam Position
Prizes
Ability to Block States/Cities
Time it takes to process new signups
Ability to sell videos / other things
Deduct Chargebacks?
I am sure as a group we can come up with a lot more things to compare them on. I don't mind having to do the research and there will be a lot of it so I anticipate this will take me a while, but I feel its the least I can give back to this community.
Would Love to hear your thoughts.
Angelica
Re: I am going to build a cam site infographic
Sounds like a hell of a lot of work!
Honestly I think it's a waste of your time because things are always changing, constantly. What is true today may not be tomorrow.
Re: I am going to build a cam site infographic
You may want to add Adultwork to your site list, it's a UK site but it's pretty popular on here.
It probably would get outdated pretty soon, but this is the kind of thing I could totally see doing just for fun so as long as you're enjoying yourself, why not? And it would be awesome to see all the info laid out like that. I think it's a wonderful idea.
Re: I am going to build a cam site infographic
I think this will be super interesting to see!
Re: I am going to build a cam site infographic
This is a great idea! Even if a lot of this info changes frequently, a simple graphic comparing things like payout percentages or site formats would be wonderful! I know it would have make things easier for me to figure out when I started camming. Good luck, this sounds interesting!

Hi Lacey, Thanks for the encouragement. What do you mean by site formats? Like if they are token based, freechat vs private chat? That kind of stuff?
Thanks!
Re: I am going to build a cam site infographic
I am curious to see the results. Even if a lot is subject to change. It would be nice to know about things like is free videochat required and those model payout % and methods, before signing up. I found out it was at SW after long sign up process, bummer. Glad you noticed the Imlive thread and included them because I mainly work there.

I think its pretty much a waste of time. The stuff that matters about these sites, you won't be able to pull up accurate data for.
Traffic, for example, is not equivalent to paying traffic. There's no way to look up paying traffic.
Average girls online won't tell you much considering a site could have a ton of girls online and a ton of PAYING traffic, which cannot be calculated.
Earnings per hour is not calculable
Pretty sure the only site that has worthwhile prizes if MFC's top 10 ranking every month
All sites have the ability to block states or cities for the most part, but it never 100% works
There is no reputable cam site that you can sell videos on. Those are sites like kinkbomb, c4s, ELM, etc etc
I believ Streamate is the only site that does not do chargebacks, but they also pay probably closest to the lowest % (35% at most), so that's why

I am not sure if you consider CB reputable (I know I have my reasons for currently not working on it)...but they have the ability to sell videos.
I am interested to see the result of this...and I do not want to sound negative but I agree Glamour in many ways.
In particular how you will be able to find out the per hour, on MFC is fairly simple (but not nessarly spot on), but as far as all the sites sites go...I would not even know how you would tell.
Also, "Amount of Users in Top Cam Position, Amount of users in Bottom Cam Position" Is going to also be impossible to figure out on some sites.
Still interested how it terns out tho.
Re: I am going to build a cam site infographic
Now I've thought about what you are trying to do and this is some what already done over at wecamgirls and at adult-webcam-faq.com so what would make yours any different.
I got my knowledge about camming from adult-webcam-faq cause 10 years ago it was the only site and now I am building my own blog thecamgirlexpert the hardest part is coming up with content that isn't already done before or if I am redoing something making sure it really has my own spin on it.
I am always looking for guest post on my blog I just have to create the guidelines for it so that the guest post match my style and theme of the blog.
