Re: Hair extensions? YES I did read the list, but still have a few Q's
It can be hard with fine hair, admittedly. The only thing I can suggest is clip in and ALWAYS human hair. Lara Darling has some great advice (and products) here - Just don't cut corners with this, good luck!

Your head will probably itch and washing it everyday will be A LOT of work. You should try clip-ins.
Installation of TAPE extensions cost 800? That is insane, Charlotte. I can do that with my eyes closed. INSANE!
well you have to prep the extensions too, which takes awhile and that price included my cut and color, sorry wasnt clear. but I agree with the sentiment on not wanting to overspend which is why I liked the tape because I wasn't beholden to the salon and I could move them up while travel dancing or while in school without having to go out of my way.
that being said I work out a ton and the tape looks terrible in ponytails and put a lot of stress on my real hair. major headache. so fusion treated me much better. washing was a lot easier too.
ugh I go back and forth. ironically, evn tho I obsess over my hair and always have, I've been doing really well lately just putting my natural hair in a ponytail.
also I understand a salon having a policy of no outside hair which is why I would just bring your hair in, if its decent they'll most likely work with it. some girls get really nasty hair.

I always do my own hair regardless of whatever it is I want done to it! I took years of beauty school so I know how to do pretty much anything regarding to hair :) I've been wearing extensions now for years & I ALWAYS buy my own hair! I'll go to either a sally's or a black beauty supply place & buy the cheapest brand they have as long as it's human hair ( btw these cheap brands have lasted me up to 6 months or longer if taken proper care of them) & just glue clips onto the individual wefts as desired. I just make sure I always wash them with a gentle shampoo & conditioner & allow them to air dry then I'll heat style them to my liking. I hate how salons always try to rip us girls off when it comes to things like this :/ If you have any questions just PM me & I'll be happy to help you :) All my friends & family trust me with their hair so I must be doing something right haha x0x0 :p

Okay, ya'll, so I went to a new stylist, who is awesome BTW and she said that since my hair is so fine a sew-in would drive me nuts, because I couldn't wash it everyday, since I'd have cornrows....she's right, if I can't wash my hair daily, I feel like a hot greasy mess...so I did a temporary Daisy Buchanan a la Great Gatsby cut with platinum highlights and once school is out for like a month in December we are going to talk about the myriads of extension options (hello 5 - 8 hrs LOL), but it is VERY IMPORTANT I can wash my hair daily. I can't even touch my head to my pillow if I don't, I'm a little OCD too LOL. I have fine, annoying hair, but I'm kinda digging being a platinum blonde again, but a little worried that the flapper style is too short....but it does look good with long earrings and a halter.....I appreciate all the advice though....I am sure I will do it and being ADHD as I am will change it, then do it again LOL.
