Do say hello, I was kind enough to greet you. Is it too much to reciprocate?
Please don't tell me what a great night you're having only to ask me why is it my room is so slow. If you're making $100 an hour, why are you in my room?

Yes! If you're not gonna answer my greeting, you should've just watched me in guest mode in the first place. Same goes for the members who refuse to speak or chat. It's called a chat room for a reason. If me saying hi is gonna scare you away, you should've just stayed logged out of your premium account and perved in guest mode.Quote:

I think it's tacky for a visiting cam girl to be in another room rambling about her camming activity anyway...unless the other model specifically asked her about it.Quote:

I couldn't care less who comes in my room model/cust as long as they act right.
My Pet Peeve actually combines into a few Pet Peeves. I did not mind other performers popping into my room, they said hi and chatted a bit with me.
Then the change started. Saying hello to my customers like the performer/s knew them. What really tipped me off was is when the performer says hello to many customers and the customer does not say hello back, he does not know her! She was advertising her name, did not respect me or my room. So, she got the boot.
Yea, and performers telling customers to tip me. That is just embarrassing. I have my own hustle.
My only pet peeve: freeloading.
That was exactly how I felt! I was having a slow day, we all do. I think it's awesome when someone banks, I really do, but pointing out that my room is slow is catty and unnecessary. I was embarrassed, yes. I felt the model (had she any manners whatsoever) would of been embarrassed to even 'go there'.
A model came in my room and started telling me what I need to do to make money. Like she was like, "I'm going to guide you. Do skype shows, put on music, dance sexy." Really. I appeared so boring because I'm still testing the site and figuring out the functions.
during a free chat promo on one site I had a super popular room bc, while i was fully clothed and the cam was on my non exposed tits, I was bored and engaging the room by trolling trolls and being snarky. Somehow that got me all kinds of silly non paying traffic and boosted my placement... what did that invite? A fellow model coming in to my room trying to solicit my non paying customers to her room.
A- Yes, please follow her back to her room so I can not entertain a bunch of asshats
B-Wow, what is the point?
C-Ugh, like, you just gave me and my whole room your model ID, so I can now easily troll you (if I had the time to care) and report you
D-That dumbass bitch made me $15 in "I'm sorry you had to deal with this" $$ because support was like "A model did what?" HAHAHAH
Usually if anyone come in my room and starts any kind of conversation and then drops the "I'm a fellow model" crap it's an insta-ban. I'm not looking for people to waste my time on. Time is $$ and I'm pretty sure you aren't looking to spend your hard earned money on a site you work for... right!?
I have even had guys come in to my room asking me to check out So and so because she is looking for other models to work with. Ummm, no thanks, if that is something she is trying to setup, she needs to do it herself, somewhere outside of my camroom please.
I believe 99% of you girls here have much more common sense and respect then to do any of that. Work! Don't perv. If you aren't working, live your life outside of porn/cam world. I think most of the models who are out there popping in our rooms are the ones who are on the brink of burnout from not having a life outside of camming.
Ramblings over
I feel like if you are going to go into a model's room signed in and expecting to interact, you had better send a small tip at least. Just to show that you value her working time. :)
I hate it when a new model comes in my room or someone who's considering becoming one comes into my room and asks a millions questions about what camming is like. I don't mind if nobody is in the room, but it can get kind of annoying with a room full of people.
The questioning is the worst I think.
I browse when I stop broadcasting a little bit. If I like someone and they keep me in their room 5 minutes I'll send a tip.
This happened to me quite a bit last week on my first week back on SM. Two girls told me they were models on the site but I was in classic chat so I let them stay for a bit. Just to test them and see what they were made of. Neither one said their name but left pretty quickly. But I have had girls on MFC pop in to offer "support" when I first started. But as soon as I realized it was a possibility I banned models right away. There's another site that I won't mention that has some pretty cutthroat chicas on it and tried to steal my room traffic. But because they were skanky and not real competition it didn't work. Now for me I looked in a bunch of rooms on SM last week to see what my niche was charging. But for each girl I left her a nice tag. Until I make more money on that site that's as far as my generosity goes.
Before I started on SM, me and my fiancée set up a personal account. I didn't question any of the girls or discuss my model aspirations, we just paid for a few different privates and exclusives and one gold show. That was my idea of researching. As for models coming into my room, I have never knowingly had that happen, knock on wood.
I'm sorry that happened to you! What a snatch.
My mind keeps changing on having models in my room, but right now it's currently and entirely positive. I think it's just because of the girls I associate myself with or if people don't even bother with my room? I don't know, but as of right now I dig the ladies in my room!
I LOVE going into other rooms, but I have one rule for myself- it's about that MODEL, NOT me, not ME AND THE MODEL, etc. She takes it where she wants it to go whether it's quiet, a 'thank you', a name blast, etc. Her room, her rules! I think I like that, no one wants to feel out of control in their own room.
I'm rambling over my coffee, sorry if it is all bunched together.
Actually sometimes it's great and sometimes it just brings drama. I did have a model pop in one night and she was the highest tipper in the room. She wasn't under her model acct but I thought it was so sweet.:) I too used to go into room ( non model acct) tip to get a room going and get those lazy fucks off their ass. It usually worked like a charm and when the room got going I left.
On MFC most models are autoblocked unless they come in the room on their premium acct. I used to get models and their pimps trying to haggle business out of my room. Or the fake model with the lower camscore trying to put bullshit on my wall like she wanted to be besties. So after that I just blocked the known countries for this behavior where I know money doesn't actually ever come in and after that I never had this problem again.
My point is look at all of the countries on the list and block the ones that you know 100% money will never come from. Done. Can't harass your spending members if they can't even find your room.
What is up with models going into other model's rooms and PMing all of their premiums and trying to steal them. Are there not enough guys on the site, really??? This is so shitty. I've had this happen in my room tonight and last night. How desperate can you be. Men love that...oh wait.
I had a repeat custie that wanted to cam as a part time job. I helped him by giving him the website's e-mail, and told him he could use me as a reference.
He got accepted, but now he has started sending me e-mails asking for my help on things like 'what name he should use, rates, and on and on.
I e-mailed him back that I need x amount of money to spend time and help him.
He came into my chat room and said he didn't have time to do that (huh?), and ended with 'Cioa' (Chow)- wtf? He mentioned that he wants to make $1000 each time he cams. Yeah buddy, don't we all! good luck with that! He'll be b-a-c-k! LOL!
Here's one kinda in reverse: I went into a model's room who was having a terrible day, with no traffic whatsoever, immediately tipped her and said "hi" but did not advertise that I was a camgirl (didn't want to scare guys away). Would never say anything about "how slow your room is" online--what a turn off to the guys who ARE watching!
But to my simple "hi" she replied back, "I think u are a cam girl like me" I said, "I'm enjoying your show right now" her reply "get off my site if you're a cam girl" Okay, will do!!! Eeek!
I made member accnt on SM when I wanted to start doing more goldshows so I did pledged into several ones; I never mentioned I was camgirl - paid, quitely observed, logged off. I did feel kinda guilty tho - like for not being honest about being camgirl hehe - I know totally weird
S...seriously? Yikes! Well, at least she made it clear. I accidentally got banned from a room! I wanted to get into the gold show she was typing up, but my pizza came before she started the timer so I ran down to grab it. I guess it took too long because when I came back I was banned. Whoops! That's just how some ladies feel they need to run their room to feel good and sexy, so I'm not mad...just kind of like...well okay then! I ended up joining another show so it wasn't a total loss, but I get how you feel!
I don't mind models popping in and out as long as they show love like I would show love if I come into a room and want to interact. I will tip if I want to join in the room fun but I do pop in and out sometimes without talking to see what other models are doing to get ideas and stuff.... I want to learn from the best! :)
