Need help regarding breached contracts VCGH CORP DENVER
Hello girls!
I recently about 6 months started dancing at a Vcgh owned club in Denver. They own about 90% of clubs here and the rest are massive dives. This weekend I was told I breached my contract by not sharing tips given to me on stage when I stayed on one side and made over 300 and her only making about 40 between her and her partner that was not even suppose to be on stage. I refused to split it when I did all the work and worked the stage harder. It was Matt (I know some of you are familiar with him on here) told me I breached because of this. My question is will I run into issues trying to work at another vcgh corporation. Are they in contact or will they be able to know I am currently breached at another of their clubs and will they not hire me because of it? And has anyone heard of this as a reason for being breached. I have read my contact multiple times and don't remember anything pertaining to that. I travel for work and don't have access to my contract at the moment and am wanting to to apply today at a few clubs. Any input would help! Thank you !
Re: Need help regarding breached contracts VCGH CORP DENVER
please take the following comments with a 'grain of salt' since I do not have a copy of the VCGH independent contractor dancer contract available either ...
VCGH is a large corporation, with the usual complement of attorneys, HR, IT etc. As such, it is extremely probable that VCGH corporation maintains a database of all of its workers, both employees and independent contractors. It is also extremely probable that any VCHG owned club has access to that database, and is required to check it prior to hiring new workers.
In terms of your contract, regardless of your own perceptions of what is 'fair', if the contract states that all tip monies received while multiple dancers are performing simultaneously must be share equally among the performing dancers, then that's the bottom line. If you signed such a contract, and if you refused to share your higher tip earnings, then you will be considered by VCHG to be in breach of that contract ... as club manager ??? Matt has already informed you.
If you walk into another VCGH owned club in a different city seeking work as a dancer, will your negative exchange with this other VCGH owned club be made known to the VCGH owned club you're now seeking to work at ? That's not a certainty by any means, but the probability is pretty high !!!

They breached mine too. I'm assuming your at penthouse? I was at Daimond. You don't have to share your tips with other girls! I've worked for vcg since 2008. Yes in Denver they won't hire you at another vcg club if your breached. This happened to the first girl I brought in dhe got fired from prenhouse and went to diamoind and they recognized her and wouldn't let her work.My gf was there last month and diamond told her she couldn't work because she didn't finish out her schedule last time she was in town. The make up the rules as they go. We should sue them. I averaged 8-2000 a night there, they owe me!

The contract does not state that melonie. I've worked for the corporation for 5 years. I do currently work for one of their clubs in another state so I may delete these posts later. there is no data base there. The directors( they have around 5 ) on every shift. They remember things like robots. They really do make up the rules as they go. One night I'd be in memebers only and they'd charge the normal suite fee ad when this other girl worked se would always say it was 100 more because he wasn't a member, I'm in there all night doing suits I think I knowthe rules. After I argued with this particular host I was breached and told I couldn't go in vip the remainder of my time there. I did anyways! They weren't going to fuck with my money when I pay 140 to work there!

I was breached from Diamond in 08 and they let me work at Penthouse within the week, but not at LaBo. They had this weird complex regarding the county divide, since Penthouse is in Arapahoe County and Diamond and LaBo are in Denver County. If it was one of the downtown clubs (IDK who manages where anymore, and I think there's more than one Matt with the company), then maybe try one of the PTs or Penthouse?
Also, I tried to get hired at LaBo after the incident anyway, and I did but I only worked there one night before I was recognized by a director visiting from Diamond (IDK why the hell he was there). Only then did they breach my contract at LaBo - they may have never found out that I'd been breached from Diamond.
They keep their signed contracts at their Denver headquarters at one of the PT's, I don't even think they keep copies at the clubs (I could be wrong). So there's a chance no one will find out, unless your recognized. I just wouldn't say anything and try to audition. The worst thing they can do is breach you again.
Then again a lot has changed with that company in the last few years. And Michelle's right, they do just make shit up as they go along.
Re: Need help regarding breached contracts VCGH CORP DENVER
^^^ I would have assumed that all of these clubs would be working with a 'shared database' by now. From what y'all are saying about these anecdotes, it would appear that this isn't actually the case ... that everything is in a 'paper file' that can't be checked by different club managers ... and that enforcement really only takes place if the 'offending' dancer is personally recognized. I obviously don't know what the company's actual capabilities are today in this regard. However, given the fact that we're talking about a large corporation, I personally find it hard to believe that they're still working with unsearchable 'paper files'.
At any rate, as was previously pointed out, there isn't much downside of trying to get hired by a different VCGH owned club.
Re: Need help regarding breached contracts VCGH CORP DENVER
^Lol, as late as 2010 a manager at LaBo had to use the phone to call over to Penthouse to confirm that I was contracted there so I could work that night (this was years after the breaching incident at Diamond).
I'd be VERY surprised if they had bothered to upgrade their system in this way. But it's been 3 years since then, so who knows?
