Re: How to Avoid Scams 101
I give out videos to who ever joins my goldshow and I start it. I always give them a "password" right when the show starts and remind them to send me a message with the password. It is the only way to get the video. Also I send a autotext to remind them in case they do not have sound. I also tell them they have until midnight EST time to claim their video. All in auto text. I also send the same auto text midway through with password. And send it again when there is 30 secs left and verbally remind them while I say my goodbye.
Password: so I can easily weedout the ones trying to send me a message like the joined the Goldshow and trying to get a free video. I also doublecheck all the names to make sure they paid.
Deadline: I have caught guys sending me a message two days later asking for the video for the Goldshow the other day when I already sent it to them, hoping to get another for free.
Repeating: In case any guys or girls report me that I "ripped" them off and never sent the video. Even though I've said to send me a message in text and with my voice. I do all of that to cover my ass.

That guy hotnice_69 was talking to me yesterday and also offered amazon, I only accept payments on the site I m working at the moment, that s one thing I hate about indy sites so many scammers and time wasters.
Re: How to Avoid Scams 101
@Melanie, I'm not surprised, he was making his rounds lol. Obviously no one is really falling for it, it's probably why he keeps trying. He was added to CMD's naughty list today.
@audritwo- That's funny they would say you ripped them off. I understand the hustle of giving out videos to GS pledgers but it always makes me giggle because they are so spoiled with vids that they forget they are really only paying for the show. Oh, you tipped $5 gold for a 7 min show, and now you get 40 videos. Like, $5 is already a great deal. Cheap bastads.

I also wanted to say thank you for posting about customers who spoil you and then mind fuck you. I'm dealing with something like that right now with one of my independent clients. Luckily, he doesn't have any of my personal details, but its like breaking up with the craziest guy EVER!!!!

Wow, Nerd, that's nuts. I don't even add them if they don't purchase a show. My list is only full of guys who've bought before and or have paid for my ID. After a while, if they haven't purchased in a while, I clean my list out. My skype list is like Fort Knox. Ain't nobody getting on without proper ID/permissions lol. You should see the bull I get when I explain it to guys messaging me for it. Nope, sorry, I only give my ID out after payment has been sent.
Re: How to Avoid Scams 101
so how does the whole paying for skype name on CMD work? they have to use that contact me thing on the right side of the page to talk about the show with u then pay for the skype show then they get it?

I've never done the 'pay to get my Skype name' thing. Have any of you ladies here done that? And if so, has it been successful? Or is it better just having them pay for the show itself? I don't like to discuss CMD right there in my MFC public chat, but I'm wondering if any of the MFC models have found it beneficial to have guys tip x tokens for the Skype name itself?
Also, you can choose to allow guys to message you on Skype without actually adding them to your contacts list. I realize that guys will want to at least message you first to see if you're available now and willing to do x, y, and z. So I'm cool with them messaging me on Skype first...as long as they're not asking me tons of irrelevant questions and making annoying free chitchat. If the guy is just messaging you for other reasons and he clearly doesn't want a show, when they send that request to be added to contacts you can choose to 'decline' or 'block' him if you want.
And if your Skype name is the same as your model name, you'll probably have even more guys (from the cam sites) messaging you with add requests.
Re: How to Avoid Scams 101
I posted about a guy in the CB thread but I'll put it here too. He'll pop in your room and just talk. Then he'll be like are you new? I can help you get followers by doing what I say. Let's talk on skype. Then on skype he'll just try and get you naked. He'll throw around other models names saying I got them 1000 followers so give me a show and I can do the same for you. Shirley said she warned him but I guess he doesn't care because he's still doing it to other models.
