Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
170 is absolutely brilliant for me with no hustling it being dead tho! Even minus the 75 house fee I wouldn't be sad about that. I know a lot of girls would say that was shit but to me that's pretty good.
Metropolis is now officially on my list of clubs to check out haha! When I know when I'm coming back I'll ask my friend what she's doing and where she's working and weigh up the options!
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
I used to work at metrópolis back in 2006/2007.I had some good times there, made some friends and the staff and management was cool.I didnt make to great money though usually 100-200 per night sometimes less. Its a cool club quite unique.I am surprised you said the girls were low standard cos when i was there the girls were mostly very good looking.I guess hiring standards have lowered over the years.
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
Oh btw is it full nude on stage and are there any black girls?
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
Well there are few very pretty girls, the rest is maybe not that pretty but they dance well, there is one that dances really professionally and actually what I've learned yesterday it's not about your looks, but about how you hustle. So even though I got 15 buisness cards, phone numbers, marriage proposals and 'you can be so much better than this, leave this and marry me!' I made 130 only, while the other girls where busy in the VIP rooms!! I still have no clue how to sell a VIP, the price is just so ridiciolous for me that I'm too shy to offer it. And all those guys telling me that I look too nice and too decent for this place had put my mood way out of the stripper zone:( So after paying my fee and a taxi I'm left with 45. The club was quite empty though. They've made me think about what I really want, and YES I would like to have a normal day-time well-paid job, but WHERE IS IT?
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
How much are the VIP rooms?

You have to stop thinking it's ridiculous. If you don't even think an hour with you is worth that amount, there's no way you'll be able to sell a customer on it. Just keep telling yourself that you are worth it - that's it's a deal, even - and you'll eventually start to believe it and be able to effectively sell it. Fake it til you make it!
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
When I worked there the VIP was actually only 100 per hour or 50 for half which is actually ridiculously low.Lots of UK clubs charge 200 for a half hour.I hope that they have increased the VIP Price.
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
Hi,
I work in London as well.
I have a friend who works in White Horse pub and does well, but the pub is not taking on new girls until January (i wanted to try it too).
I work in Hustler, which used to be called FYEO..but there might be another FYEO too in London, im not sure.
I am not sure if you still want to get in, but if you are, i am sure there are always looking for new girls. It is a gown club, until 1am, then you can change. Audition can be nerve racking cos depending on what time the manager has time to see you, it can be after opening times, which means you will have 20+ girls (and maybe customers) wathcing, but if it is before 10pm then it is probably only the manager, who is a decent guy actually.
If you have any questions about the club, let me know. If not, then good luck in Metropolis (or in your future day job!). Merry X-mas!

hey im a newbie who wants to work in london as well
do you mean the hustler in croydon?? is it good money there??
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
I tried Hustler in Croydon and found it very competitive. Not bitchy, the girls were lovely, and the guys were easy to hustle, but GOD, those girls are fast! As soon as a guy walked in (and not many guys did come in the time I worked there) the girls would be over there, have got themselves a drink from him, and be on their way to the lapdance room before I'd even really registered that he'd arrived and started to stand up!
I think I should have given it more time, as I would have adjusted to the pace fairly quickly. And y'know, when you're new you don't really want to be pushing girls out of the way to get to customers, you've got to find your feet!
But yes, I do think there is money to be made there.
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
I heard that hustler ask for two 'proof of address' to work there. Is that true? That seems really weird.
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
Yes! I'd forgotten about that. The paperwork is INSANE at that club. Like, a 15 page contract where you have to go through and initial every sentence to show you understand the rules, 2 forms of photo ID, 2 proof of address, and your national insurance number. (You have to show them the card too, they got pissy that I knew my number off by heart and didn't have the actual card)
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
Newb2, yes, i meant the Hustler in Croydon.
There is money there, yes, but it is very unpredictable. Although i guess it is the same everywhere.. Last night was busy but still felt like pulling teeth, hopefully it will pick up soon.
I dont work there much, sometimes i dont go in for months. I have never worked weekdays either cos i live too far and there would be no trains at 3-5am. So i have no regulars. But a lot of girls do and they make good money. VIPs are pricey, (and i struggle to sell them :-\) over £300/hour. And yes, there are a lot of girls who are very good at hustling. Everyone is nice enough, there are no real fights. There are a lot of girls, probably around 25-30 on a weekend, but it is a big club. I tried Red Rooms and they have sooo many girls for a much smaller club, so i went back to Croydon.
The paperwork side of things is something that i dont really remember, it was almost 4 years ago when i auditioned. They took a copy of my passport and probably asked for the other things you girls mentioned too. Yes, the contract is VERY long, i do remember that :)
Re: Need a push and friendly advice before my first audition EVER - London
Hi! I know this was from a while ago but reading these threads were really helpful :) . Ive been thinking about becoming a dancer for ages but need to get the courage to actually audition! I'm not worried about taking off my clothes in front of people or anything like that , just like you i have the same fear of auditioning itself and blanking out and not knowing what to do on stage... I applied for platinum lace online and sent pics and they got back to me inviting me to audition, but I don't have any experience so I was thinking of auditioning for metropolis instead and just want reassurance-- what kind of dance ability are they expecting there? I am toned so i'm not worried about that , more about going and auditioning really. it would be great if i could get some advice from you.. best wishes :* Ellis
