Re: *Come in on a slow day*
Well..hmm. Can you call first, next time? Although that's not for sure they won't say conflicting things on the phone either..Hard to say, mgrs./club are notoriously iffy at best

Yes, it's better to go back on a slower day when the manager has more time to give you an audition. The busier days are usually not the best time.
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
Different employees often have different ideas about how things work. Call and ask specifically for days and times that they allow auditions. If they keep blowing you off at the door even when you come in at a specified time, maybe it's your look? I have no idea what you look like or what your area is like, so no disrespect intended.

Btw Sansonnet ^^ totally off topic, but I just got to that episode of Panty and Stocking and laughed my ass off when I recognized it as your gif.
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
For every place that I've ever worked, there was a manager on shift nightly so there would be no need to wait until Friday to see a manager because they have one there Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, ect. I think they could possibly be giving you the run around.

True, there is a always a manager of sorts on shift, but I've found with a lot of places, only certain ones are the ones who hire. The last club I auditioned at, the hiring manager was only there Tuesday - Thursday. Not that there wasn't a "manager" on shift other nights, but sometimes they don't have the power to make such decisions. He hired me and didn't even want me to work my first night until he was there next, as opposed to working my first night with the other manager. It varies.

I would call first but also whenever I do audition, it's on a slow night.

Gotcha. I've never encountered that before but it makes sense. I personally like to audition on Tuesday or Wednesday night at around 10 p.m. (unless the club specifies otherwise).
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
I called before I went in and was told to come in during the day if I'm applying for day shift and night for night shift. Once I filled out my application he told me to come in during the day for audition. I think there's a separate time for each process at this club so that might be it as well.

As crude as the show was, I loved that series. I remember which episode, but if he didn't want her dancing in there the judge wouldn't have had that pole in his courtroom/audience.
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
Yeah, I've found that if I go audition on a slower night, the hiring manager usually has a lot less to do than if I were to go in on a busier night. There was one time I went to audition at a club on a Saturday night and managed to get hired, but that club gets a lot of traffic. But generally if I call a club and ask for instructions, e.g. what day is good to go in and audition, they usually say to come in on a Mon-Thur or something like that. It varies from club to club.
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
This is the outfit im going to audition in. Tell me if its a good choice. The dress code is bikini/lingerie. Sorry my head got chopped off while I was taking the pic lol!

I don't know, try that one lol! All of the links show up on my browser.
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
Do you have a photobucket? Maybe you could try uploading on there and sharing a link. There are probably better ways to do this, but I'm not that savvy.

I can't tell if it matches? Your body is banging but I think fishnets would look better with that look.
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
they're fishnets and the top is a lace up tube corset and the thong is black and pink lace.
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
OOh don't go in w/o a head, lol, j/k..outfit looks fine to me, what I can make out of it, (lighting) Good Luck!!
Re: *Come in on a slow day*
I think you look great, but you will probably tear your thigh highs. Fence nets are the only things that don't get ripped up the first night I wear them. Re: your original question, I find it's best to get there by 8:30ish if you're auditioning on a Thursday/Friday. Otherwise, managers can act like hiring a stripper is this very delicate and time-consuming process and you're disrespecting them by showing up at such an ungodly hour.
