Some strippers start smoking out the ears with a blank stare.
After I'm called an asshole for asking some embarrassing crap, etc. (Can't blame them.) they stick around!
So far as I can tell, the ladies at least tolerate it lol.
I just have fun with it.
Worth it to me for the entertainment alone.
My buddies think I've lost it, but I'm having way more fun this way.
They stick around because you're tipping. But "tolerating" your jack-assery isn't exactly the most pleasant experience, ya know?
At least you're upfront about it so I won't get mad. I'm glad that you brought this up because it's a serious issue.
Previously, I've discussed the all-too-common misconception that paying a strip club admission fee gives the customer carte blanche to be rude to the strippers/staff... This is the perfect opportunity to elaborate.
Being mean and/or rude in order to make someone uncomfortable/upset for your personal ENTERTAINMENT is not normal. You like to humiliate, irritate, and infuriate women... for FUN! The fact that you derive oodles of joy by offending someone is a major spooky red flag (think American Psycho). You have to do some serious soul searching, Eric.
Strippers strip. We perform on stage, we take off our clothes, we give dances, sip champagne, chat, joke, and entertain you. We do not want to be uncomfortable or angry just as much as we don't want you to be uncomfortable or angry.
Strippers are NOT masochists.
Your definition of fun is not fun for us.
Some girls are happy to take your money and let things roll off their shoulders... they think "this asshole is being a jerk to get a rise out of me, yawn, at least he is raising the value of my bank account". Other strippers take things a bit more to heart.
Strippers are forced to put up with bullshit like this daily. We "tolerate" it for the money but sometimes it takes a toll.
- I have seen some girls break down in the dressing room after a particularly unsavory individual chose to elevate his evening by systematically putting them down... personal attacks, insults, condescension... etc.
- Two or three girls had panic attacks after a customer brought up unpleasant and entirely inappropriate things regarding rape, family stuff, sexuality, religious weirdness.
- You have been lucky so far... but I've seen customers get slapped/attacked when they said something out of line. I'm not suggesting that the stripper was right to assault the customer in any of the instances I witnessed... but if you start pushing the wrong buttons you might have a very bad day.
Personally, I have cried too many times because of people like you.
Why is it so easy to forget that Strippers are people?
We are daughters, sometimes sisters, sometimes mothers, sometimes caregivers, sometimes breadwinners.
We are human beings.
We are at work to make money and sometimes we put up with unthinkable shit from folks like you to make that money.
We would like to do our job without having our feelings hurt or being irritated by douchebags for the bargain basement rate of one dollar per minute.
Customers need to understand that baiting/berating a dancer is not acceptable.
Your good-time-asshole-behavior is very stressful and hurtful. You make people uncomfortable.
In all seriousness... If I were you, I'd be scared. You need to evaluate why "being a dick" is so "fun" for you. That isn't okay... like, at all.
Why do you get off on other people's discomfort? Why do you get pleasure from jerking people around? Does it give you a sense of power? What is the matter with you???
