Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I think I'm gonna tell custys I'm from the Czech Republic and moved here when I was 12 or so. I can fake the accent and everything! Lol. I'm not sure if I'm gonna pull off the whole "barely legal" teen with minimal makeup or the sexy pornstar girl with dark smokey eyes. This whole creating a new identity sure is fun! What are your guys' stage personas?

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
whatever i sense the customer is into. you need to be chameleon. one night i will be the innocent lolita type, the next night ill try a hot barbie type. change up your looks a lot, and play with them.
there are a few looks that i favor ( girl next door sweet, trashy-skanky- hot, and the lolita look) and some that i know i cannot pull off ( glamazon, porn star look).
accents can be very hot! be careful about keeping up with it though, with the same customers.once i did slipped up trying it, and it was pretty embarrassing :p

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
Do you know any words in Czech? Be prepared for customers to ask you to say something for them! You may also run into someone who knows a few words or phrases.

^Find a "look" that suits you and that's mainstream (can appeal to the majority) and then change your persona depending on what the customer likes i.e. sometimes they want a "fun party girl", the girl next door, someone sensual etc

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I do the hot bitch lol, being nice does not really work for me v much.

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I try to become whatever I think the guys like, and I definitely pull 'sex crazed party girl' out more at weekends, but my go-to persona that all my regulars like is 'snobby spoilt princess'.
I'm tall and slim and get told I'm 'classic' or 'regal' looking, (and I have a proper 'Queens English' accent) so I play on that and refuse to drink anything but a certain champagne, talk about flying first class, the expensive restaurants I've been to, etc. I act like nothing is quite good enough and they fall all over themselves trying to impress me.

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
You know, I haven't actually started dancing yet so I wonder about this a lot...what happens if the same guy comes in next week and you don't recognize him and you don't do your Czech accent or you can't remember all the BS you told him? Or do you so seldom see regulars that that never ends up happening?
I don't know. I want to tell people stories but that concern does pop up.

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I play the hot, sexually experienced punk vagabond gal who has seen everything and is surprised by nothing, but is easily turned on by and loves money. lol

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
^ that's me! or I'll fake a russian accent (which almost always works) & seem to pull dances easier when I try that approach :)

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I do the bitch hustle well. (Too well)
"I have the biggest tits here. Give me money"
"I'm pretty, not desperate. You're lucky I'm even looking your way"
"You're only in here to 'watch the game'? I bet you like that tight end you fucking faggot. You're in the wrong bar"
Works for me ::)

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
Haven't been dancing for that long, but my persona has ended up being pretty innocent and "girl-next-door." More than one person (customers and other dancers) have commented that I have a kind of "schoolgirl" look (ironic considering I dropped out of college, hehe). It feels kind of weird to be put in that box - I don't really like looking younger than I am or being assumed to be super innocent - but from everything I've heard that makes good money and that's what I'm there for, so I run with it.
I don't really have the confidence to pull off a complete lie about my background, so I pull some aspects of my actual past and fabricate others so it's believable. I guess I'm worried about a customer asking for details about where I say I'm from, only to answer with awkward silence because I don't actually know anything about that location =P

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
Flirty, witty, fun, sassy porn star has always worked well for me! Although I can change my persona to anything if need be. I usually try to feel people out first before I commit to any full fledged personality though.

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I would never tell outright lies about myself just cos I would feel like such an idiot if I got caught out.
-
Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
No matter what, I'm always the bubbly Barbie porn star..it just comes out that way..I enjoy working with a smile on my face and I like giggling all the time. It's a nervous twitch but it works for me.

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I flip back and forth between the sarcastic sultry bitch and the cute Barbie. Depends on the customer.
-
Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I'm generally the cheeky, flirty pinup type but depending on the custie I change pretty quickly. Some folks prefer smoldering temptress, others prefer bright and bubbly. My look stays along the same lines generally, it's my attitude that changes. The only thing that is a constant is my smile. I always try to smile when on the floor if I can help it.

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
im usually the party girl who literally dances all around the club. i'm humorous and intelligent and well spoken and black. and it totally catches people off guard when i get on stage and make my ass clap and bounce. its ingenious really. Ive also been told that im a conversationalist with a gift for gab.

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I'm myself... lol. I don't know I've just never gotten into the playing a persona thing. I try to laugh and smile a lot more than I normally do, but that's about it. I find it works best for me to be honest... I get to know my customers well and they'll do dances that involve just purely talking...
-
Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
i wouldnt call mine a persona either lol, its literally who i am everywhere i go, aside from the stripper outfit.
-
Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I'm not a sexy person IMO so it's hard for me to try to be "sexy". I mostly feel like guys even approach the stage cause I'm the only one there with really long blonde hair lol. I guess I'm the cute Barbie type.
-
Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I straight up lie to everyone and I tend to feel people out first before I commit to any specific persona. But I've totally faked accents before and been successful (and other times not been so successful...). Lately I tend to play out some form of naughty girl next door, and it works for me. In real life I tend to be super reserved and not very flirty, so when I'm in the club I need to make a concentrated effort.

Re: Dancers: what's your stage persona?
I'm sensual and erotic. I stare customers in the eyes and give a low smile. So I usually can get them drawn in with my sexy body slowly swaying. Lol... That's all I do. I'm not a pole girl. I just give great sex appeal and flirtyness.
