Who is considered a "high roller"?
How much in your opinion does a custy have to spend in a visit in order to be considered a high roller? For me for example, I have 1 custy that gives me $900+ per visit, but because he's from out of state he only visits a few times a year. But I still consider him a high roller because he spends that amount plus tips consistently each visit. Or do you only consider them a high roller if they spend a lot but see you frequently?
Re: Who is considered a "high roller"?
For me a high roller is a guy who spends 3000 on me everytime.
Re: Who is considered a "high roller"?
I don't think being a high roller has anything to do with frequency of visits. It's about dropping a lot of cash in the club when they are there. The amount that a lot equals varies by club though… Like, my current club does not have VIPs or very expensive drinks, so a high roller here would probably be pathetic compared to a high roller in NYC or Vegas where they can drop thousands in an hour.
Re: Who is considered a "high roller"?
High rollers are known by all in the club. Managers and staff will kiss ass. I work in clubs with exclusive members only rooms where it costs 3000 a year to belong. Some are multimillionaires that are cheap asses. Some spend big. I had a guy spend 15,000 in two days. In Chicago I was in vip with 3 other girls for 5 hours we got 1,000 an hour and their tab was around 20,000. Those are high rollers....
Re: Who is considered a "high roller"?
I guess it would just be someone who spends considerably more than the average customer. Whatever that might be. .?...
Re: Who is considered a "high roller"?
A high roller IMO is not just a "big spender" he is an enormous spender... for someone to be a high roller I'd say several thousand a visit. A "big spender" is probably someone who spends 1K+ each time, but IMO a "high roller" spends SEVERAL thousand a visit, not just 1 or 2K. I have a few regulars who spend between 1-2K each visit; they're my "big spenders." My club used to have a guy who came in from PA every couple weeks and spent 7-10 grand each time. That is a high roller (and yes he was a multi-millionaire).
I also had a regular at a different club who had spent 25K to "own" a champagne room for a year. So he could come in whenever and rent out the room he pre-paid for and the girl would get her cut. He's a high roller. He had like 20 cars (seriously).
Re: Who is considered a "high roller"?
^ Exactly! What I said. I've seen 20,000 thrown around like nothing in Chicago and Nola all the time!
Re: Who is considered a "high roller"?
High rollers mean at least $2,000+ per visit, per dtripper, in my opinion. But I consider any guy who spends the most money on me that evening a high roller. $xxx+ means way more than it did before.
Ugh... damn the economy.
Re: Who is considered a "high roller"?
its all relative. if you work at a famous, fancy upscale place in the city that attracts wealthy businessmen, then yeah thousands and thousands would be considered a high roller. but for a tiny midtier club on the highway like where i work i'd say a customer who spends over 800 on me in one night is a high roller for a place like that.
IMO it doesn't matter how often he comes in there. i could only see him once, but he would still be a high roller, even for that one night
