Weird things you have looked up on Wikipedia
I'm always curious about weird, random, inexplicable things that have happened. What was the last strange event/phenomena/theories/etc. you looked up on Wikipedia...or google....or whatever?
For me:
-The Bloop http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloop
-The Hum http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Hum
-and @GlamourRouge told me about the Dyatlov Pass incident http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dyatlov_Pass_incident
Re: Weird things you have looked up on Wikipedia
I Google everythinggggggg! Lol
Once I searched "Why do men have nipples?"
Re: Weird things you have looked up on Wikipedia
Oh my goodness, I love me some Wikipedia. Some recent things I've been reading:
- Dancing Mania
- Lobotomy
- Taman Shud Case
- Dopamine
- Philosophy of Mind
- Proteopedia: Life in 3-D: I will be using this to help me visualize some of the molecules and their activity for organic chemistry
- Proteopedia: Drug Metabolism by CYP450 Enzymes
- Possible World
- Transgressive Fiction
- WikiPremed: It basically is the Cliff Notes of anything science. I used it last semester to help solidify important organic chemistry mechanisms and will use it again this semester
- WikiProject Law
- Abnormal Psychology
Seriously I will keep clicking on the little blue words that are links until my eyes hurt from reading the bright computer screen. This is a big guilty pleasure/time-waster of mine that I enjoy way too much. I also like Snopes (a site dedicated to debunking Urban Legends). TruTV Crime Library is another fave of mine and of course it's always fun to look at the crazy things people try to sell you or attempt to financially entice you to do as a "gig" via Craigslist.
Seriously talking about this stuff is giving me urges to waste a ton of time looking up things I will never need to know. I am getting emotionally and physically excited just thinking about it.....I may have a problem....LOL
