Re: Conversation Starters
Ask what brings them out to the club (this helps you figure out your sales angle), if they're from out of town/local (visitors may be in more of a spending mood than locals), if they've been there before (how much explaining do you need to do to close the sale), etc.
Otherwise, either get them talking about themselves (follow up questions are easy) or search for a common interest (it can be faked on your end as long as you're somewhat believable).
Re: Conversation Starters
My tits are usually great conversation starters ::)
Re: Conversation Starters
I use funny internet meme photos as icebreakers. I look through the humor section of Pintrest from my phone, when I see something especially giggle worthy, I will share that photo a customer I want to approach. I try to stick to non-controversial subjects, like the kind of stuff George Takei would post on twitter.
Re: Conversation Starters
I start off the same with everyone. I ask them how they are and what their name is. Then I ask if they've been to the club before so I can get a feel for how to pitch to them (if they come a lot they know how dances work, if it's their first time they'll need some explaining, etc). I try to feel them out with these questions, get a vibe of their personality. Some of the guys that come to my club are rather serious and want me to sit with them and talk very intelligently and calmly, other guys want me to be more loud, funny and sarcastic, others sweet and smiley... the first 30 seconds are more me feeling them out than asking them interesting questions.
Re: Conversation Starters

they are 25 , 15 or 5. but trust me no one has ever let the blue room*$25* dissapointed and i say it with a wink ;)
i DO NOT do anyhting illegal or bad.
sometimes if its a guy who is clearly getting turned on or something i lie and say omg im sorry and hold my head a little, i jsut had a shot of tequila like 10 minutes ago and i jsut felt it wooo hooo! man who knows what i may do back there ;)
thats a line one of the older dancers i work with taught me.
just dont let there be lulls in the convo and if you can make him laugh you have a better chance of getting a damnce :)
hope this helps;D
Re: Conversation Starters
try a flirty opener, it sets the convo mood and keeps it from getting too serious. example: "Hi, I'm ___ ! *look him over up and down* "You're looking cute tonight!" *giggle* cheesy as hell I know, but they eat it up, trust me. Usually they will laugh and check you out in return and say "No, YOU'RE looking cute!" or something similar. So much easier to reel them in now, since they've just admitted they find you attractive!
