Re: Getting attatched to your customer
Resurrecting because I have a HUGE crush on a customer. We became kinda friends...now I'm pretty sure he blocked me and my poor, tiny heart is broken :crying:
I thought we were gonna be BFFs!
Just had to get that off my chest, so I can move on from expecting anymore attention from him. :brokenhea
Re: Getting attatched to your customer
I have had alot of clients that seem like really nice great guys. Occasionally I feel bad for leading them on and for their situations, but i've learned that if you keep talking to the person for a very extended time it seems to run it's course and they do eventually turn asshole on you. I've had several guys who spent a lot of time and generously gave me money over a period of years then as soon as I tell them I've decided it's not a good idea to meet them, they suddenly stop spending money. They just start showing up in my room every once in awhile barely talking, almost like they are trying to teach me a lesson. Just recently I realized from talking to my favorite regular that the best ones are the ones who spend lots of time with you and who DON'T BRING UP MEETING, because they understand your working, and so if I decide I like someone it will not be someone who AT ANY POINT ASKED TO MEET ME, IT WILL BE ME ASKING THEM.
