Where are the gamer girls!?!
For all I love SW for, there seemed to be a lacking for the geeks among us, those who when not camming like to pick up a controller, or open up steam and throw on their headsets. YES I mean the gamers among us!
THat said, Whats on your play list currently? Whats your usual style etc.
personally Ive lacked alittle. Im a loyal biowhore ( even after the EA buy out) and looking forward to DA3, was a massive massive Mass effect fan girl but the end of three sorta killed the love for me the way hudson went with it writing wise. But thats the style I tend to enjoy, the kotor/jade empire, dragon age types. Love a few others like Assassins creed for their story telling- even if it gets alittle repetitive so have not picked up black flag yet, and mostly just running around on TOR ( yes I do sill enjoy it and star fighter is a blast)
though I am guilty to admit my love of saints row for its twisted humor

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
Stuff I currently play on Steam: Borderlands 2, TF2, L4D2, Mercenary Kings, Killing Floor, and a million little indie games
I also sometimes go mess around in WoW and Everquest. Used to play a lot of Counter Strike, Unreal Tourney, etc.
PS3, I mostly stick to 3D fighters like DoA, Tekken, Soul Calibur, etc. (No love for Street Fighter. Sorrynotsorry.) and I'm finally going to get Dynasty Warriors 8. Maybe also getting Dragon's Crown.
PS2, I just finished Shadow Tower: The Abyss and now I'm on Kings Field: The Ancient City
For 3DS, I'm all up in some Animal Crossing and Pokemon X. Monster Hunter 3 is nice too ;)

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
*raises hand!*
Ps3 gamer here. I've been really into GTA 5 lately (specifically online). Love the Mass Effect series, Fallout and of course Resident Evil (played 5 and 6 waaaay too much). I really wanna get into The Last of Us, Bioshock and the CoD games buuut those are pricey, so.
Anyone wants to add me on PSN my name is AlexaFoxxy.

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
Kerbal space program has also been a major addiction too when I want to relax and do something fun but still challenging
loved bioshock. Its actually the first FPS that Ive not gotten motion sick with, and the story is great, need to pick up the new one eventually or rent it, sadly sooooo many great games with amazing stories, but not really re-playable enough to validate buying

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
I have a Wii and a Gamboy Advance and play often, not to mention PC games. It really depends but lately I've been playing the one game where you drive the controller like a car and race against others. I play a lot of boring games too (boring to others) like bowling, Mario, Sonic, games that are game shows like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, etc.

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
oh I do so love the classics though, there are a few sites with built in emulators so I can play the old NES/GB/Genesis things when I have that itch

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
I have a Super Nintendo, Xbox 360, and an Xbox One. Illooovvvveeee Dragon Age (I actually live pretty close to the Bioware main office towers), Elder Scrolls 4 and 5, and pretty much the whole Halo franchise. I played the most recent beta for ESO and it was so fantastic that all I can do is fan girl over it and anxiously await the release of the game. I've only played the first Bioshock game because I got lazy when the second one came out, then gave up when the third did... I'll get to it someday... I play Gears of War (all of them), Portal 1&2, Left 4 Dead 1&2, Resident Evil 5&6... Recently a friend got me to replay Fable XD... There are a bunch of original Xbox games that I still love :D. And I still have Sonic Adventures for the Dreamcast!
I'm really excited for Dying Light, Dragon Age 3, Halo 5, and Fable Legends.
On another note, I just told my boyfriend that I wasn't dying of excitement for Kingdom Hearts 3 and he responded with 'well your single now'... I know he's joking but ouch XD.

I still have an Atari and a Nintendo somewhere. Not sure if they still work but they were a lot of fun. I remember when we got Atari when I was 11 and me and my brother and father spent hours playing Space Invaders, Pac-Man and Donkey Kong. my brother got Sega Genesis when he went to college and that summer I spent a lot of time playing Sonic. Ironically that is the summer I started stripping.

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
thats clearly because tails is a bad role model! * puts corrupting game paranoia stamp on sonic!*
DA3 is something Im epically awaiting. I didnt hate 2 as much as others did, I still enjoyed it and glad we got voice acting in it - since ME spoiled me by not being a mute main character. 3 should be great and from the sounds of it DA3 will be way more open world than the first one was since they are using a new engine.
I also admit to having DA legends on my phone

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
Right now playing Arkham origins. BF plays GTA 5 and likes taking the strippers home. He likes to taunt his friends on Xbox live that he gets to fuck a stripper IRL while they only get imaginary ones. :p

I love the Zelda games, they're beautiful and such incredible adventures.

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
Sucker for the classics over here: the original Mario 1/2/3 & DuckTales 1&2 for Nintendo NES; regularly nicked my brother's Gameboy for Mario-6 Golden Coins & Quarth. I still like to bring up the Bermuda lvl music on Utube when feeling nostalgic. As far as 'grownup games' go I liked Silent Hill, liked watching more than playing Resident Evil & nvr cared much for the GTA series but love Chatterbox.
Computer games: Titanic Adventure out of Time(& have DL'd most of the soundtrack for that as well, will be great for pole dancing); Sims2 & Sims3 + various ExPacs(curse Vista & my outdated graphics card); & I have recently slipped back into the phenomenal timesink that is World of Warcraft. I have a pot of water set to boil for dinner & then will be logging on to wreck havoc w/ my Panda shaman :D

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
Right now, I'm mostly playing L4D2, A Link Between Worlds, and WoW or Guild Wars 2 occasionally. I'm pissed because my NES isn't working, and I'm not sure if it's the cords being shot, or the NES itself. All I know is I want to play some Mario 3 or City Connection and I can't, so grr.

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
I'm an table top gamer- super geeky!! I play d+d and I love rolling dice >,<
So when I play video games it's usually stuff like WOW, everquest, neverwinter nights, and guild wars.

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
My preferences are boring, but I play. Resident Evil 6, D3, Halo, Gears of War, Borderlands 1&2, Assassin's Creed and Unreal Tournament 3 are my favorites. I've been doing more WOW and Starcraft now that my son wants the TV for his Sesame Street though lol

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
Ooh, me me me! I've been watching more games lately than playing, but my things are:
Xbox: Borderlands 2, anything Lego, some COD, and Minecraft
PS3: Had to trade it in because it was bricked, but normally Assassin's Creed is on that system. Used to be a Resident Evil buff, then realized it truly scared the shit out of me so I stopped playing it lol.
PC: Just RuneScape and some Minecraft. My computer can't decently run either of them but I can cam off of it to perfection, wtf.
Nintendo: I LOVE POKEMON. Like, seriously. If you want my Friend Code for Pokemon X/Y you should totally message me.

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
Mario, Donkey Kong Country, on Wii. Have an Xbox but don't use.

That's alot like how I end up picking video games. Did table top for a long time - some D&D, alot of vampire, deadlands, starwars ( the old d6) Paranoia ( thats a blast) and lately scion.

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
I'm a total Metal Gear Solid whore. I'm obsessed with the series, and I don't even know how many times I've played through the first one (currently about halfway through again right now). Other than that, I actually really like N64 games - Mario 64, Conker's Bad Fur Day, Zelda. I also have a weird love of a PS2 game called Space Channel 5. It's sooo cheesy, but actually kinda challenging, so I bust it out and try to get perfect scores when I'm bored.
My friends keep trying to get me to play WoW but I'm worried that if I learn about it and actually get into it, I'll become obsessed. I already spend too much time on the computer as it is.

I could never get into wow, to me its alittle outdated, not as story driven as newer ones in a grand scale and gets repetitive....MMO wise though I DO LOVE SW:tOR though. yeah its wow like in its own way, but take WOW, and smash it together with Kotor/DA/MAss effect- basically Bioware style storytelling. fully voiced even your talking options are similar to DA2/ME with the wheel. and many voice actors you'll recognize YAY for Jennifer hale overdose ( voices a few characters like satele shan - she also did bastilla shan in kotor, and is the female tooper's voice. my trooper is a cathar whom loks like a white tiger. so more horansi than cathar looking
wow I just bled nerd all over

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
Aaaaaah this thread! :D
I've been obsessed with Metal Gear Solid since it came out, with a little break the last few years after 4 came out... just finished replaying that today though so I'm psyched for the fifth games.
Really got into Bethesda lately, played Skyrim to death and only played Fallout 3 for the first time in the last few months. About to start New Vegas.
I want to play a lot of PC games but my laptop is on Linux and it's old so I can't run anything good. Really want to play Kerbal Space Program but it lags so much, will have to wait for a new computer! I'm trying to get into Minecraft, I think I'll enjoy it on long train journeys, but the rest of the time I can't tell if I'm having fun or not haha. I also love a good old WW2 combat flying game :)

Re: Where are the gamer girls!?!
I miss good sims.... Use to LOVE the x-Wing series sims in my midschool/hs days. Kerbal is a blast, frustrating sometimes because you really have to learn to understand physics and such to a little better degree, but in a nice trial and error sorta way.
LOVE elder scrolls, Morrowind, Oblivian was great but the gates got tedious after a while. Skyrim was fun. I love getting so distracted doing my own things you dont really get the main story done fast. Though I preffer it on the PC simply because of places like skyrim nexus with all the mods to really boost the game, like body shaping mods, mods to actually make the elves pretty ( I always play a dark elf in ES) and you have user content like this amazing massive eleven city in tree tops, or thigns to up the realism of the water and such, and a ton more custom clothing and weapon options!
just little quality of life perks
