Im auditioning at mystique today or 2moro....I'm going on an audition spree...my club is great for a dive but i need higher earning potential. I've been rejected in the city a few times but I'm dark and its somewhat expected.. I'm auditioning here tonight its number 2 on my audition queue.. hustler..mystique..diamonds..vivid.. flash...I've been rejected at flash ( 6mon. ago).. vivid (last month)..sapphire (a year ago) I've been in queens clubs for 5 months and 100-35 a night won't do since I've come into some financial mountains ...any suggestions welcome. wish me luck!

6 months ago is a long time, if you feel ready you can audition at those clubs again. I feel like nowadays getting hire depends on the personal taste and the mood of the manager that happens to be there..

Flash will probably keep rejecting you. They rejected my tiny 98lb spanish gf twice! Vivid will prob def hire you if you ask to do days and then try to work your way up to nights. If Hustler tells you they are going to put you on a "list", you've been rejected. Good luck!!!

agreed that Flash's management has some pre-conceived notions regarding how their dancers are 'supposed to look'. For better or worse, Flash has so many dancers trying to get on their schedule that management can 'afford' to indulge those pre-conceived notions.
From the standpoint of would-be Manhattan dancers, unlike most other big cities, Manhattan has managed to hang onto strict adult business zoning laws. The end result has been extreme difficulty in opening up totally new clubs, and near impossibility for an existing club to expand. This in turn has led to a 'strip club market' situation where there is a limited amount of 'supply' ( Manhattan clubs and dancers ) relative to customer 'demand'.
From a Manhattan clubowner's standpoint this is a beneficial situation since 'new competition' is mostly kept out of the immediate area. From a Manhattan clubowner's standpoint this is also beneficial since it means price levels can be jacked up without a whole lot of customer complaints ... which means higher earnings for the clubs. And from a Manhattan dancer's standpoint, this is at least somewhat beneficial for the same reasons.
However, for would-be Manhattan dancers, the tradeoff is that Manhattan clubowners probably have more would-be dancers to choose from than anywhere else in the USA. Unfortunately, this allows Manhattan clubowners to indulge their pre-conceived notions, to 'exploit' dancers financially and regulation wise, etc. But as long as Manhattan laws restrict 'new competition', and as long as Manhattan continues to have a large number of strip club customers willing to spend a comparatively large amount of money, many dancers are willing to 'put up with' the Manhattan clubowner situation in exchange for high earnings potential. However, this also often means that particular would-be Manhattan dancers will have great difficulty being hired by Manhattan clubs.

Where did you get hired ?
Re: anyone at club mystique nyc? or other manhattan clubs
I actually ended up at rouge in queens but they got slow in summer and I moved to citylights in yonkers now thats the worst club I have ever seen so im heading to vivid again since they originally told me to try back since they were new and full of girls many of them were black so im guessing they reached their chocolate quota but if they say no im gonna try mystique since I never actually got to audition I went while the manager wasnt there (or so I was told).
