I just moved to London from LA... and my advice is to stay in LA unless you have a burning desire to move to the UK for reasons totally unrelated to dancing, I did not move because I wanted to dance in London I moved because I wanted to live in London for two years before graduate school. You will make much more money in LA.
Also you can't just move to the UK and come work here cause you want to, you have to have a passport or a work visa. There are some countries you can go to (I think anyone can work in Australia for a year, there are some agencies you can use) but it's not as simple as just packing your bags and going. I don't know how caming works, you may be able to do that in any country you want, but the clubs here are very strict about documentation.
i have heard that europe and and the UK ( especially europe) is very bad for strippers trying to make money. never been, so please correct me if im wrong! from what i've heard the US, australia, and certain parts of canada are the best for making money. i'd just stay put if i were you.
^^^ indeed, where exotic dancing is concerned, US citizen girls are at a major disadvantage when attempting to work legally at clubs in Eurozone and Commonwealth countries ( UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa ). While doing so isn't absolutely impossible, it's typically an ordeal ... i.e. finding a foreign country clubowner willing to not only hire you sight unseen but also willing to sponsor a work visa application on your behalf ... which in turn may or may not actually be approved by that country's gov't. If it's any consolation, girls who are Eurozone or Commonwealth country citizens face similar problems attempting to work legally in US clubs.
While it wasn't specifically stated, posts from SW girls describing work in both US clubs and Eurozone / Commonwealth country clubs is usually the result of those girls already having 'dual' citizenship ... i.e. besides being US citizens they also hold citizenship in a Eurozone or Commonwealth country thus are also able to work legally in clubs located in Eurozone or Commonwealth countries without the need of a work visa.
Camming from foreign countries is far easier since, technically speaking, the camgirl is not 'working' within the foreign country as long as the webcam host site she is using is not located in that foreign country. This means that no work visa is required even if the girl isn't a citizen or 'permanent resident' of that foreign country. This is actually what I do from down here 'way south of the border'. Additionally, since the webcam hosts I use are based outside the country I am 'visiting' ( even though I've been here 3 years, I'm still operating under a visitor's visa ), all money I earn is considered to be 'foreign' income ... and is thus free of any taxes being imposed by the country I am 'visiting'. And the first $106,000 per year I earn is also exempt from US income taxes as long as the webcam host sites I use are not based in the US either ! Thus even if I only do occasional camming resulting in $500 a week of 'gross' camming earnings, living down here 'way south of the border' I get to pocket the entire $500 instead of having to hand over $100+ of that $500 to US Social Security and income taxes.
In regard to dancing income potential, with a tiny handful of exceptions, the best opportunities are actually to be found in US clubs. Granted that SoCal club earnings potential is only 'average' ( in the absence of heavy duty 'extras', anyhow ).
