I got that email too. I told him I couldn't log in and he was like you never finished the sign up process. He sent me a link to finish it. I know I never finished and I thought I could just log in and finish it but nooo it's a separate link I need.

I just started a site similar to this, however we start out at 65% commission, you don't need to make 2k first.
Also chargebacks will never touch you - we are going to take the hit instead.
I find the way this email was written is very impersonable - I have been handwriting every email to everyone I've tried to recruit for the site. Does a site which copy paste and mass sends emails really better than one which personally speaks to each and every model who joins up?
Hi there ladies!
I was starting to fill out my application to work there but I decided to come here and see how your experience has been....
Think i m gonna wait, I can do more content and upload it on c4s and elm, I don t do great on those sites but sounds better than this i want clips site..lol at least for now!
I've had pretty good success there. I also like that you can upload PDF's (I like sending slave contracts and stories) as well as pics and videos. Sales have been worth it to keep uploading!
Traffic is like 700 hits per day.. mostly models logging in to see why they haven't sold anything.
On a more positive note I do like the idea of 5% more, and it's not even a year old. They can definitely gain ground on C4S and others if they play their cards right.
Does anybody have any updates on this site? Have sales picked up?
I asked to have my account canceled because I felt it was a waste of time, and then I made a sale. I've sold two clips in three months. The only reason I'm adding clips is so i can make payout.
For the past week or so, I can't do anything on the site. Whatever I try to do, all I get is a screen to sign in or a grey screen where I can't click on anything. Is this the death of Iwantclips?
Trying to add a few more clips sites and thought I'd check back on this one. I notice they have removed the age limitation now.
Anyone notice traffic picking up here or is it still dead?
In my experience, there is some traffic, however the site customers are very much a niche market. The only stuff that seems to sell there is FemDom.
Iwantclips was an bust for me :)
I sell a variety of Femdom content , I do well on C4S and the other places I sell content on . I've been there since May of last year My experiences thus far :
enjoy the option of a star rating ( all 5's)
I really like the layout of the site
It's very easy to use
easy categorization of content , much like C4S .
option to not offer a preview and allows animated GIF
new uploads are prominently displayed on front page
I really like their front page , is very friendly to both model and customer in terms of visibility .
Was invited to join " recognizes me as a top content producer"
Started Making payouts in January after putting effort into my studio , had a baby in May so it was slow to get Myself established there as I was BFing exclusively .
Every payout received thus far has been late ( I'm paid monthly , I don't rely on that income thank God but content is My only job so =-/ ) when I say late I mean middle of the month like the 16th when "payouts are processed on the 2nd" .
Made $466 in the month of March
No idea when I'll get that .
My store is not promoted there at all , not a retweet ( we follow each other I "@" them ) , not a banner , site says they promote "established" studios , whatever that Means I have over 35+ clips available .
details of My late payouts were um , interesting ...
This is my experience , just hoping someone finds it helpful or informative and appreciate anyone else's input especially on the payout situation . =)
If you are a seller, and have a website/blog/free webpage whatever, you are looking at this wrong when you are looking at the sales aspect. As someone who promotes some femdom/fetish content, the payout rates /benefits of that site are very good, and so far it has staying power. BUT like I said, if you have a website/page etc. you want to be listed on a lot of these sites whether you make sales on them or not. They can drive traffic from that site, to your website, and to your other clip sales sites. If I guy finds a model he likes, he will likely want to find out more, so even if you don't have a site of your own and just clip stores, you are on google! So it drives traffic that way as well. These big clip sale sites bring a lot of linking power within google as well, which means more traffic, and more sales as a law of averages. Lastly, whether or not you actually make sales on one site does not mean the site you are not selling on is not driving sales to another site that you ARE getting good sales on. If you are just in this for a few bucks here and there, the sales aspect is a reasonable argument of selling on one site or another, but if you are promoting yourself you need to have more visibility and selling on multiple sites gives you just that. You could also leverage prices and release dates across several sites to sort of tilt sales towards the site that you prefer as well....
Well I have about 1000 clips there and there is not much going on really. They said they would heavily promote me, but they didn't.
I asked about it and they said I stopped uploading content, so they don't think they have to do anything for me (kinda like that, I could search for the email.)
I answered that I have 1000 clips already there and that all sales I made came from my customer base that I brought over, so they should really do something as well.
I also started updating again to show some initiative.
Since then they post about me on their twitter every Friday, mostly the same message promoting one of my shorter clips, which has been a top seller on c4s when it came out. Have not sold it on iwc.
Did not request a payout yet or connect a bank account. I am curious as to how much they say I got on there, because the statistics on that are totally messed up due to them changing processors in the beginning.
Lately received an email from their head developer that the team were not being paid for 7 months or so and that they would be gone soon. Iwc responded that the guys were blackmailing them and that interpol, the fbi and whatnot were being informed. I contacted the guys and they seem fine to me. They did not do any damage to iwc and just left.
So, I am actually doubting that a tweet every Friday counts as promotion at all. Have not noticed anything else yet. I have links to them on my site which probably gets more visitors to my store there than they do. It has been really really dead for a long time now...
I like some of their features, but the update list is just a huge disadvantage. No time, no date, no clip name, just studios chasing each other out of a 30 spot list. You hardly stay in there for a minute and it's not working to promote yourself.
Why the actual fuck cant these guys get it together?!
Are there any theories as to why exactly none of these alternatives to C4S can ever offer anything decent?
I am about to spread myself onto other platforms but hearing this makes me lose faith in other options.
Geez its a payment adult industry processing ecommerce site....not rocket science.
I dont get it.
Part of the problem may be high turnover rates at the company itself or just not much staffing at all. I have had advertising agreements with some of this clip sale sites and usually everything goes fine for a maybe up to 6 months and then they stop sending checks, don't answer e-mails, and everything else to tell you anything. Or 6 months after that someone will finally answer an old e-mail and say that the person you e-mailed doesn't work their anymore etc etc. That is even with the big well known companies. The internet, especially these niches are still pretty flakey. Alot will also run a bunch of great promos for awhile, it brings people in, and soon after then end up focusing on a chosen few and go heavy with them. I really haven't heard a lot of bad things about them up until finding this thread, so I don't know their particular problem, but I will say they were one to follow that exact the script I outlined but the big one did also.
I see, thanks for that.
UGH it really annoys me hearing this-its always the content providers that loose out
about that promotion thing , so every single day and today in particular I notice a bunch of rt on my twitter TL from IWC , a lot of these are from studios that look fairly new to me or that I had never heard of ( been around for a little while ) good for them . Around the time I wrote my first post on IWC I also messaged them as to how I , too can be promoted on twitter since we follow each other , I was asked to include a link to My store in my twitter bio . Did that . I also had to submit My banner and ask for it to be added to rotation .
Since April and asking IWC has done nothing by means of promotion for me . I asked again last week how I can be apart of the twitter promotions and was told basically " good job for having our link in your bio , we do promotions based on content count and sales , why don't you use our customs option ? promote OUR SITE by offering clips here first and maybe offering a discount "
So what I got out of that is make is promote us MORE before we consider promoting you ...
So basically, I prefer Clips4sale in terms of promotion and not being a popularity contest , their setup seems a lot more "fair" to me , I guess to the point that I don't know that the 200 late dollars or so a month I earn there is worth the hassle .
It's a pain in the ass that they're like that. I'm currently uploading 100 of my clips to their site as I finally got the paperwork sorted and I'm wondering why I bother with these other sites. With clipvia owing me over 2k in payouts since last year (they've emailed promising that it's all sorted and everyone will get paid this month, we will see) and now hearing this it seems like c4s is really the only site worth working on.
In saying that, Goddess Jessica has a pinned tweet of her IWC earning for June at the moment, apparently $16.5k. But that could be a result of them promoting her and a few select others consistently and also the fact that she has a pretty large fan base anyway. When I first saw it, it was motivating to me, it made me think 'well there is money to be made there, I just have to work hard and get it'. Since reading this thread, I'm not so sure that it is realistically going to work that way...
I have also heard that findom thing elsewhere so there could be more to it. I also heard that most promotion comes through the top models and iwc does not do a lot of marketing themselves.
From my experience, in the beginning, it was pretty diverse in terms of clips uploaded. Then it got full of goddess stuff. Nothing against the goddesses, but it has become pretty one-sided.
Payouts like 16.5k are certainly not normal or achievable by everyone. I have made $20 on iwantclips last month, but I guess you believe that without me posting my paycheck ;)
"Clip sales" is a deceptive term. Clip sites are also payment processors, so as far as Findom (Financial Domination) goes, tributes can be sent through sites like Kinkbomb and IWC. So a FinDomme can recieve$25/$50/$100+ a pop. Financial Domination is really one of the tightest fits for clip sites because it is sort of a bridge between a video and cam and a FinDommes also do a lot of custom clips which are generally $100 on up.
That is exactly what I thought.
$16K is all fine and well but I wouls take a stab and say that at least half of that was tributes.
Nothing wrong with that of course but to get hung up on it if you do not do FD is going to be sucky for your confidence etc
