Streamate 'newbie' status
Hi everyone! Probably a stupid question but I would really, really appreciate some help here!
I've been doing cam and phone sex on Adultwork for a few months, but after reading a lot here I know now that Streamate and MFC will be FAR more profitable. So a couple of weeks ago, I signed up to both. I got approved for MFC first and i've done 2 days there so far. I'm making loads, loads more than I ever did on Adultwork. To you guys it's probably nothing, but i'm really excited by how much money i'm making!
Here's the problem - I need money fast. I took a few weeks off camming a while back and got into some financial trouble. I've got a really important birthday coming up and I have almost no money, so I need around £500 ($830) by April 17th. I know I will definitely make that on MFC if I carry on the rate i'm going (i'm half way there already), and I know I can get that on the 17th, because MFC pay out on the 16th.
I just got approved for SM a couple of hours ago. I remember reading on here that new girl status on SM is really good for you and you can make loads in your first two weeks or so. But I won't be able to get payout from SM for about a month! So I want to work on MFC until the 17th so I can get as much as possible at payout, and then work on SM after that. Then i'll decide which one I prefer and that will be my regular site from then on.
But because I won't be working on SM until the 17th, I was just wondering if that would be 'wasting' my new girl status if you know what I mean? I was thinking maybe I should delete one of the I.D documents or something so that I don't show up, then re-upload the I.D around the 14th so I can work on SM late this month and take full advantage of the new girl status.
What do you guys think? And sorry for the crazy long essay!
Re: Streamate 'newbie' status
Just don't do a show on SM until you're ready to hustle. The new girl status goes into effect with your first show. Mine just ended a few days ago, but I've had my account for nearly 3 months. Reason being is that I didn't broadcast until the first week of March.
Re: Streamate 'newbie' status
Ohhh! Thank you so much. I thought it came in to effect when your profile was approved, not when you started streaming. This thread is kind of pointless now, but i'll leave it in case anyone else has the same problem. Thanks!

Oh this is a great post! I actually just messaged SM about the same thing, because I have had my acct since last September (Just haven't needed it until now), but have never started it up.
