Camming from another country over the summer and Payoneer
Hi Ladies,
I had a quick question that maybe one of you would know the answer. I am planning on spending the summer in Europe (Italy) and thought of doing some camming as well while I was there. Has anyone ever done this? My question was regarding payment, I usually get payments through Payoneer and was wondering if anyone had any trouble accessing their money from an ATM Internationally. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you :)

Hey Absynthe-
While I don't have the answer to your question I think this would be a better section of SW to ask in, the payoneer official thread:

It should be working without a problem. I am using my Payoneer card all over the Europe in ATMs and shops as well. But double check with Nissim Payoneer.

Re: Camming from another country over the summer and Payoneer
From my own experience ... based on being a US citizen who works outside the USA 90% of the time ... there are really only two issues that can 'complicate' this. The first is that some webcam host software may have 'problems' if it detects that a US 'registered' camgirl's video stream is coming from a non-US IP. This is fixable via webcam host tech support.
The second issue involves how your payments are 'routed'. If you receive all of your payments as credits on the same debit card, you shouldn't have any problems accessing that money via any 'international' ATM. But if you have your payments direct deposited to a US based bank account, this may require you to seek out particular European banks / ATM's that have some established 'relationship' with the US bank your account is at to avoid being 'double whammied' by high fees at both ends of the transfer. Also, keep in mind that, from a tax standpoint, the webcam host and the IRS still consider all of your webcam earnings ( under these circumstances ) to still be US income subject to US taxes.

Thanks for the feedback Melonie, that's why I had planned on using the Payoneer debit card to receive payments, to try to avoid excessive fees but I just wondered if anyone had ever done this, or if they ran into complications with foreign ATM's when they tried to access their money. I would hate to get there and then find out that I couldn't withdraw money for whatever reason. As for taxes, I know that I still have to pay US taxes on them, I don't plan on staying out of the States for a very long period of time, just looking to supplement my income while I am away for a few weeks.
Thank you for your input!
Also, if you could PM me sometime I would love to talk to you about expat/working from south of the border, since I am considering leaving the U.S. in the next year or so. :)
