What kind of computer are you using?
So, I've been using my sony desktop to cam, all over my house. Moving around a computer is such a hassle, I'm probably going to get a lap top just for camming, and try to keep the bulk of my files on my desk top and back up drives. Do any of your guys have a lap top that you just love? Thanks for replies!
Re: What kind of computer are you using?
In about a week, I'll be camming on this bad boy: http://www.xoticpc.com/sager-np8298-...ma-p-6983.html
Can't wait until it gets here! I've been wanting an amazing laptop for a while and I finally got one. Otherwise, I've been using a Dell Inspiron 15, which definitely gets the job done. When I stream in full HD, though, it goes in slow motion on my end because of the CPU usage. It's annoying, but manageable.

Re: What kind of computer are you using?
I have this one http://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-IdeaCen...dp/B00CPZJ5CC/. I love it. Its fast, quite, and it kicks ass. I have a Sony laptop, love it as well but its not SM/HD/Encoder worthy so I just use it for personal use now. I want to get a new laptop soon though. I'm still deciding on what one I want.

Re: What kind of computer are you using?
Lenovo i5 CPU @ 2.5GHz RAM 4GB (low low)
it was cheap but worth it for what it was and I love it. But I would love any kind of upgrade (specially for working on SM). Is there any thread about laptops recommendation? I'd love a toshiba i7!!!

Lenovo is great for so many things, really, it is. I had a super techy have-it-all HP and fuck, I would keep my cheapo of a laptop I have now. I wanted an i7 but counnt afford it at that moment. But really i5 at 2.5 GHz is kind of enough for what I'm doing. Not so sure when I start playing 16 poker tables simultaneously or sliptcamming hah. And toshibas are fucking monsters.
Thank you Blovely!!! <3 forgive my inability of finding the right thread u__U
Re: What kind of computer are you using?
I use my Mac Pro laptop and love it! It can get hot at times but I only cam for about three hours max!
Re: What kind of computer are you using?
I'm into music productions so a mac would be nice too. But I HATE those laptops that get hot all the time. That's what happened to my old HP. My lenovo is cold as a fridge.
