Hair STYLES!!
Hello Everyone! :)
I'm interested in getting into dancing. I was wondering what has worked for you as far as hair styles? I have long hair, and personally my favorite way to wear it is sexy, long, shiny curls. I'm not a huge fan of the straight look. I think this look would work really well for me in clubs.
What length of hair do you have and what gets you the most money, makes you feel the most confident!?

Re: Hair STYLES!!
Another vote for long and blonde.
Don't get me wrong, a good hustler will make money no matter what. I was dying for a short, badass cut (I'm talking shaving off one side of my head), but I figured why lower my range of clientele I appeal to. I might as well maximize my profit while I'm stripping, I can chop it all off and do crazy shit to it when I don't need to depend on my sexual appeal to make money.
Also I've had customers tell me they don't like extensions. They definitely like the look of long hair, but don't like that they can't touch it. The fact that I'm tall, but still have mid back bleached hair is a miracle. I'm one of the few girls with long hair at my club without extensions or weave and customers love that they can touch my blonde hair without their fingers catching onto something. I've noticed girls who chopped their hair off putting extensions/weave back in or wearing a wig after a week. Just my observations. I love short hair and would love to rock it, but long and blonde makes me money.
Also straight hair tends to make me more money too.
Yesterday I had a girl tell me to put my hair back up into my ponytail because I look good with my hair up and I agreed. After losing so much weight, I forgot I had good bone structure, which is another reason I've been dying for a short haircut. But the group of customers we were sitting with quickly shot that down saying they prefer my hair down. I generally follow the rule that if a girl compliments an outfit or my hair style, I change into a different outfit or do my hair the opposite. Because what we like as women and dancers isn't necessarily what men like as customers.

Re: Hair STYLES!!
Long-haired brunette (mid-back). It's naturally wavy-curly, but I would generally straighten it for work because that took me less time and effort.
I think some men prefer straight hair because it tends not to contain any hairspray or strong-smelling, crunchy-feeling products. It just looks smooth and touchable. I personally prefer the look of curled hair (Victoria's Secret-style waves), but over the course of a 4-8-hour shift, the curls generally fall out without some serious hair products.

Re: Hair STYLES!!
I wear wigs because of my mohawk. However this is my experience:
Curly hair tends to look more innocent, flirty, and bubbly. I get more of the old farts when I wear my curly porn star wig. Pair it with red lipstick and pinup lingerie and it's hook, line, and sinker!
Straight hair makes me look more Asian and incidentally more of a bitch. I get a LOT of subs and guys who like "Asian" girls. These ones tend to be mid 30's to early 50's.
Now when I wear my "real" hair all I get is young guys. They loooove the mohawk. The older crowd really doesn't dig it.
*Shrug* I make my money either way, but it's a question of working smarter, not harder.

Re: Hair STYLES!!
My hair is like one inch from my butt. It's very light blonde with a few white blonde highlights in the front. When I'm not working, 95% of the time it's in a ponytail or braided up. When I AM at work, I straighten it, curl it with a curling iron into beachy waves, or use my electric curlers.
I try not to get into a habit of wearing it one certain way. I find that switching things up with my hair (also with outfits and style in general) always ends up benefitting me in one way or another.
