Is my body good enough for dancing?
I know this is a very vague question, and i will get different opinions which is what i'm aiming for. I've had a child and I have bad stretchmarks. I also have gained a little weight with the pregnancy. So this is me a year and a half after having my son, and I was wondering if i would do okay being a dancer. I can shake my ass and dance a little, and I'm a very social, happy person. This has always been a passion of mine, and I feel its now the time to start. With my body, what kind of strip clubs do you think I should audition at? I am from Pennsylvania

I can't recommend any specific clubs, but I do think you could get hired at a dive/mid-tier club in most cities, possibly only on day shift until you tone up a bit, but I can't see you getting turned away from every club. I might recommend a was it cincher/bustier so you can cover up your tummy will still showing off your boobs. Dancing skills are nowhere near as necessary as a good personality and strong hustle, so you'll be fine!

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
wear a half corset or one of those bigger garter belts til you firm up a bit more. you have great legs and boobs! i work with a girl who looks kinda like you, and she is a top earner.

Heh...I live in the Philly burbs and if you have teeth and are under 200 llbs you already have 2 distinct advantages. The only club I've been to that doesn't have 300 llb heifers or crackheads is Double Visions.
Delilah's and SOH are the only other clubs that seem to have standards.
I'd tone up your midsection and try for some respectable places. Bring your overall body fat % down by doing cardio and a lot of ab and core exercises.
I don't know where you are in PA but so far the most lenient club in terms of scheduling is Platinum Plus in Allentown.

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
Thanks for the replys. I'm going to give platinum plus a try. Do you know when I can go in for an audition? I'm about an hour from there so that wouldn't be a bad drive. And thanks Tempest, your post made a million times less stressed. :)

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
Corsets, cinchers, and garter belts are all good ideas. You have an hourglass shape, so don't worry too much about the looseness. You could also look into rompers or dresses:

But don't get civilian clothes and try to pass it off in the club. Good luck!

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
I definitely agree with the corset or cinchers, and I think a garter belt could be awesome too - guys love those but it seems like a lot of girls don't wear them. Plus it would be expected that you wouldn't take it on and off, whereas with a corset you might have to take it off on stage depending on the clubs rules. I'd also get something to lift your boobs up a bit - you awesome boobs and the triangle top doesn't do them justice! Some kind of lacy lingerie-type bra to match the garter belt would look awesome

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
Is a boob job in your future OP? If I wasn't terrified of getting fat again I'd go bigger.

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
I wasn't planning on wearing the bikini, just trying to give an idea of my body type. I'm going outfit shopping tomorrow so hopefully I can find the out fits you guys suggested. And yes, Tempest I was planning on one in the next year.

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
Nice! Don't make my mistake!
-
Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
What mistake did you make? By not going bigger? I really have no idea what size would look appropriate on me. Plus I need to lose some weight, I have a horrible thyroid so I gain weight like crazy.

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
I made the mistake of not getting down to my goal weight BEFORE my surgery. I wound up looking like a fatty with big tits instead of a hot chick with big fake ones. I had to work twice as hard. It's not fun.

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
I couldn't imagine working out hard with big tits. Do you get back aches with them?
-
Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
Nope. I'm busting my butt to make sure that the only thing that jiggles on me is my tits.

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
Lol I like the way you think. Do you know when I can audition at platinum buy any chance?

Oh shit, my bad. Go between 7-11 I think with your ID. They don't really audition just make you watch some stupid video and fill out paperwork. I don't think you should have an issue getting hired. Or you could just do the amateur contest on Thursday and shoot for the grand prize.

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
You look nice and have a very nice hour glass shape and tits. However it all depends on what kind of club you want to work in. If you want to work in a better club with out the drug addicts and guys constantly asking for extras then i suggest you invest in a tummy tuck. Otherwise like another poster mentioned you will end up in a 3rd tier seedy club where lots of extras are performed. You will probably make just as much or more in an extras club versus a mainstream club.

She might be able to tone up without a tummy tuck. If she drops the weight slowly without any crazy crash dieting she should be fine. I used to be a Fatty Mcfatfat until I lost about 30 llbs. The only indicators of my past are some stretch marks and a small pooch.

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
Agree that she needs to tone up and that will tighten her body but I doubt she will be able to get rid of the stretched skin and the tummy pouch she has by exercising alone. Being 30 pounds overweight is completely different than the impact a pregnancy has on the muscles in the abdomen.

Eh :/ I might have to agree there. If she can drop some poundage she might be able to get into a mid tier club. The place she was thinking about trying will take her as is. Trust me when I say that in PA all you need is a vagina (or vagumach) and church shoes for 85% of the clubs. The only clubs that I have seen with ANY standards are SOH, Delilah's, Risque, and Double Visions.

Completely O/T but I love that they make you watch a video. Reminds me of working at Macys in high school and having to watch all the safety videos hehe

agreed. i work with many very fit, thin girls who still have a kangaroo pouch of skin hanging down, and sometimes pregnancy can really mess with your muscles, actually dividing them like "diastasis recti".

Re: Is my body good enough for dancing?
That's about what my body looks like. You'll do fine or great at a mid-tier club or divey club especially if you have a really cheerful, happy, bubbly personality.
I've been turned away from about 1/4 of the clubs I've auditioned at and the ones I did get to work in I made plenty of money and no one gave me shit about my body if anything, the management compliments me on how well I'm doing there.
