Am I going to screw myself up?
I know you guys are not immigration attorneys, but maybe some of you been in the similar situation or know someone who's been there.
I have a green card (a permanent resident) which I need to renew every ten years or get a citizenship in 5 years or so. The question is, if I start camming and as a result start getting 1099's from webcam hosts (making it obvious to the government where I work) and then I apply to renew my green card or to get a citizenship, will immigration say :"well since you made your money naked, we are not going to let you stay here anymore/obtain citizenship of our country"?
or will they not care as long as what I do is legal, have no criminal charges and pay my taxes?
Re: Am I going to screw myself up?
I thought that with permanent residency you are legal to work, or unless having a work permit is something separate? Otherwise since you're legal and what you're doing is legal I don't see why they wouldn't let you stay.

No I have the legal right tp work as a green card holder. I just thought they might consider it immoral or something....... Or maybe it all is just much simpler than that

If you are able to work, you are able to do any legal work. Camming is legal. Immoral is subjective, so they aren't going to be able to do anything based on something being "immoral". You should be just fine. :)

I am in a similar situation however i am the Cammer and my husband is the immigrant. To get his Visa i have to prove i make enough money to support him. They know what i do and as long as it's legal it really doesn't matter.
