Newbie in need of help\advice
Hello!
so I've been lurking on the site for a few days and can't seem to find quite what i'm looking for. A friend recently piqued my interest in becoming a Cam girl. But i'm not sure where to start or quite what to expect. I know there are plenty of sites out there, but have also read that many of these sites end up taking a large portion of your profit, what are some reputable sites you ladies would recommend looking into ?
I plan to check out some cam sites and sit in on some shows to get a better idea. But how does a typical session go down ? I'm not asking for any secrets and not trying to sound prude with any of this, just honestly not sure what to expect. I've also heard some girls do " non nude" which i honestly didn't know was a money making option. I suppose my mind is sorta viewing camming as those cam chats where I'd masturbate for boyfriends as a teenager only with a bit more hustle for the money..Am i just waaay off ?
Thanks in advance for your help :)

The main sites are Streamate, Myfreecams, Chaturbate, Cam4.Others include Adultwork, Cams, Imlive, Livejasmin and Webcams. I'd have a quick browse of each of them. They all have very different styles. You are likely to find one or two of them suit you more than others.

I recommend thoroughly reading this thread in particular -

I think I know what your asking but honestly you won't fully understand a camming session until you are behind the cam. Do a lot of reading on here! I seriously read every thread in camming connection back a year before I started (that didn't even 100% fully prepare me lol). WATCH CAMS. Spend time on the big cam sites (Myfreecams, chaturbate, streamate, etc) and get a feel for what the girls are doing. Don't only watch the first row of girls because that will give you an unrealistic sense of what your earnings should be... its great for motivation but it can get a little depressing haha.
