Escort Advice About Websites? Please Help.
Ok so I have been escorting since I was 18, I am 21 now. I work in Southeastern part of NC and even though there have been slow periods money has generally been good up until this spring/summer. I know it is not just me either because I have spoken to the other ladies and they say the same thing. The strippers say the same thing as well. So I tried changing my pics, my ad, my look, etc and still slow. I was curious though if having a website would help me. I have never tried it before but know a lot of ladies have them so my question is are websites very effective in maximizing your earning potential? And if they are do clients actually buy things from your wishlist? Also is anyone else out there have a crappy summer? Thanks ladies.

If you market your website well, especially with SEO, then it can help you reach a whole new customer base than those browsing ads on the usual places.

Your website is a powerful marketing tool - I suggest investing the money in your website. At minimum $500. once you update it and add in link exchanges and maybe a blog it will bring in clients who find you from visiting other escorts websites or other listings sites that you are on.
My website is currently down right now and almost every other email is that my website is down. some guys like to visit your website and spend hours on it. Use it to your advantage.

Start with a .tumblr and go to GoDaddy.com to switch it to a .com. Cost $12. And they have enough free templates on Tumblr for you to make it nice.

This. Tumblr is a great escortsite platform and they're very adult friendly.

I would be wary of Tumblr, you never know when they will change their terms. It pays to study up on platforms because your website is a crucial factor in marketing to the right clients. I've never been good at website stuff, so I just hired somebody. You have to watch out for the snakey web designers in this business. I used dicknjanedesigns and I don't regret it.r
I think all escorts should definitely invest in digimarc or a similar program when your site is up. It's $79 a year and worth it. It digitally watermarks your photos (up to 1000) so the watermark survives even through digital manipulation. I can't tell you how many girls have jacked my photos before I started watermarking with that program!

Oh, and Shanna Dior was correct. If you have a great website, you will market past the clients that are looking at advertising sites and open up new doors to your business. I don't feel that Tumblr would help you with SEO to your target audience. :/

Tumblr has been used by the adult industry for years. While you are right there terms of conditions can change, it's a GREAT option for someone that's on a budget and no looking to spend $500 plus right out the gate.
