Is it Safe to Give Out My Gamer Tag?
As the title states! Is it safe to give out my xbox live gamer tag? If I use a throw away email (or cam email) and don't charge it to my credit card, can I be found? I figure, since I'm quite good at FPS, I could probably charge guys to listen to me flip shit/own their asses in certain games... Not a lot, but it's something I do anyways :p I checked and didn't see anything about this (though I might be blind :/ so, sorry if it's been asked before!)

In theory, people should be able to locate your general location through you IP if you are using xbox live through a program called cain and abel
Here is a link on how people are able to track you down by your ip address.

Whether you want to take that risk is up to you.

I wouldn't. A good friend of mine had an awful time w the gaming community after an ugly breakup. Vindictive, computer-savvy people are not good to be against you, and let you ban the wrong gamer or whatnot while cam-ming (who also has your gamer info) and who knows what can happen.
