Dumb question, but what do you use to stream music on cam sites?
I have never streamed music on a cam site before. I just got approved on MyFreeCams and was wondering what most ladies use to stream a playlist?
Thanks!

Re: Dumb question, but what do you use to stream music on cam sites?
I just use my phone because I'm lazy lol. I used to use iHeartRadio but every once in a while it would play a weird song that would kill the mood just at the wrong moment but if your computer & Internet connection can handle it it's not bad.
Word of warning: don't use speakers & mic on the same device! For instance if your mic is in/on your computer use separate speakers (at least a few feet away) to play the music. If they're too close together (e.g. speakers and mic in the same laptop) it'll sound really unpleasant to your customers and make them leave.

I use Spotify or iTunes on my iPad so it doesn't interfere with my computer's CPU usage.

Same^^ I just use my ipad, and if you dont have a separate device, I think you can save playlists and albums for offline play if you're worried about it slowing down you computer while you stream (at least for spotify you can).

I use my cell phone,I have a work play list or sometimes I'll turn my tv to one of those music stations in the 800's or go on demand and play a music video or playlist

I also use my phone. I connect small speakers to it and stream Pandora or Spotify. I usually turn off my WiFi and use 4G so I'm not pulling from my stream.

8tracks.com in all of it's sexy glory. Searching playlists by tags is damn brilliant. Moody + strip = jazzy, dark, grimey sexy music. Ung. Love.

www.grooveshark.com 100% free, you can have hundreds of playlists and just mute any ads in the background or get a ad blocker. I never have any issues and I love creating several playlists for cam. Also, you just search and drop any songs you want in your queue.

Pandora via Roku.
I'm too cheap to pay for Spotify premium -- it's only free for mobile devices for some reason.

Re: Dumb question, but what do you use to stream music on cam sites?
Spotify is free on computers babe. I use it on my Mac. Ads galore, but still free. :)
I have so much trouble streaming music! My music is always super loud to me (like 50% volume), but really quiet when I check my stream. I hear myself at a normal volume speaking (similar in level to the music), but it's always muted. Any of you ladies know what's up with that? I've even tried streaming from my laptop while I work on my desktop with no luck...

Honestly, it's great to have a 23 yr old and a soon to be 18 yr old son so I can keep up with the times .. oh they are a changing.. hard to keep up when you are in your 40's.. it's more like if it ain't broke don't fix it kinda thing.

Re: Dumb question, but what do you use to stream music on cam sites?
I just open a new tab and put on pandora. It's kind of obnoxious with the commercials because sometimes they will feature ads for my states lottery but my cam persona doesnt live in that state haha. Nobodys caught on yet. I've found though that when you streamate music from your computer and its going through your webcam mic it can get that grainy bad sound quality.
Also... I tend to keep my sound on my computer turned OFF because there's always the guy who wants to use his microphone in private so he doesnt have to pay my exclusive price for the phone option. (This is on streamate) so then what happens is i'll get a few people in private and since my volume is on they can hear everything he's saying. I hate hate hate those guys that do that without telling you. Its extremely inconsiderate.
One time right before I was about to "cum" and I had 4 people in private the guy turns on his mic and starts spewing "Yes bb! HARDER FASTER COME ON COME ON COME ON CUM CUM CUM FASTER HARDER" and every other guy left. I should have blocked the douche but couldnt catch him quick enough.
Now I use spotify premium version with my phone. I really like it because there arent any commercials and I can create playlists. Its definitely worth it.

Re: Dumb question, but what do you use to stream music on cam sites?
I'll throw this out for discussion since most camgirls are probably unaware ...
Playing copyrighted music as part of a 'public performance' ... and particularly so as part of a profit making business venture 'performance' ... is NOT permitted without first obtaining a 'blanket license' from the music publishers.
from
(snip) public performance rights licensing is now handled by two very large companies named ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) and BMI (Broadcast Music Incorporated) that simplify the process. Each one handles a catalog of about 4,000,000 songs.
A radio station will typically purchase from ASCAP and BMI what are called blanket licenses to broadcast music. A blanket license lets the station play anything it likes throughout the year. ASCAP and BMI decide how to divide up the money among all the rights owners.
Any establishment that wants to play music that will be heard by the general public needs a license as well. If you go to the Forms section of the BMI Web site, you can find a list of dozens of forms to cover every different type of establishment that you can imagine.
Let's consider this example -- a skating rink that wants to play music for its skating patrons needs to fill out this form. The schedule of fees is right on the form. If you own a rink that has 15,000 square feet of skating area and you charge customers $5.00 to skate, you own a class 6B establishment and you need to pay BMI $205 every year. You would need to do the same thing for ASCAP.
Technically, anyone performing music publicly anywhere has to pay:
•If you are in a marching band playing in a parade and the song you are playing is an ASCAP or BMI song, the band or the parade organizers have to pay.
•If you are an aerobics instructor using music in a class, you have to pay.
•If you are a street musician, you have to pay.
If you do not pay and you get caught, you can be sued. Beware, the fines are pretty steep -- sometimes thousands of dollars.(snip)
Also, in terms of a worst case scenario, a webcam host that allows camgirls to play copyrighted music without first obtaining a 'blanket license' could be technically considered in violation of songwriter / music publisher copyrights by facilitating unlicensed rebroadcast of copyrighted material for profit. This could potentially result in US LE actions against the webcam host.
