Escort Work Safety
There was recently a "bust" in my apartment where my incall is! and a few of the buildings nearby. The guy that was arrested ran a human trafficking ring with women from different parts of Asia.
I was a wreck today. I don't know what to expect. will they be pitching tents in from of my complex? Will they be looking at my complexes video? The cops were interviewed and they mentioned "cracking down." What exactly can they do if they think something is odd in an apartment? Will they stop and talk to my customers?
This happened right in my complex (they mention it in the news story!) and a couple of others (my friend down the road had some media lurking around)
My friend is also shaken up, though she also thinks that they aren't looking for girls like us, they are looking for operations such as this. I can't imagine it not being hot right now at least.
Before this all happened I wanted to post an ad. Now I guess I shouldn't for a while until things die down... I'm not sure when that will be though.
I need to move, the media exposure is not something cutomers will be comfortable with. My lease isn't up for a long while though. This city is a small city, there are only so many apartment complexes.
Do you have any thoughts on this?

Re: Escort Work Safety
I've had a couple of customers email me the news report.
I'm going to start browsing other apartments. I'll have to ask about breaking my lease, I don't know how that will go over.

Re: Escort Work Safety
Move!!
Having the police and media exposure hardly makes for a pleasant working environment. Potentially, it could cost you clients and draw LE upon yourself as they are in the building already.
Could you tour or travel somewhere else for work for a while? Let things calm down and reassess then. You could even sub-let your current space while you do so!
