Help Choosing an Agency (Touring)
I'm an independent provider and doing pretty well in my hometown but I'm really want to try out touring. I've read every post I could find on the subject and have decided that going with an agency or referral service to "sponsor" my trip is the way to go in my case (no fear of not recouping overhead costs, having someone handle the bookings/screening).
I've looked at several in the cities I'm interested in (Boston, DC and NJ) but aside from reading review boards how can you actually get any insight on what the agencies are like and what kind of volume to expect? There is one agency in particular that I'm interested in... it was mentioned on another thread here on SW and looks great but their last posted review was from 2012 so I'm not sure what to make of that.
Also, how long do you touring ladies typically stay in a given city? A week long visit is what I'm planning on, as I can't really be away for longer than that.
Thanks in advance, and thank you also for all the incredibly helpful info throughout this site. Love you ladies!
Re: Help Choosing an Agency (Touring)
Hey sweets:) Guess I'll be the first to respond, honestly I think you never really know until you work with the agency(make sure it's reputable). Many factors will play a role into how well you'll do(Looks,Age,Personality&demand.)I think you should do some research outside of SW and go for it.I'd say starting out only a week or 2 but if the $$$$ is rolling in stay as long as you deem necessary:)
