our first show
my boyfriend & I are new to the cam model world & tonight we will be putting on our first show... now we are both very new to this, walking in the dark new.. so any advice would be appreciated. how should we start the free chat? & the private chat? Not how but what should be the things we do (other than the obvious).
I'd just like to have some idea of what people are looking for or what is preferred?
thanks :)

Re: our first show
What site are you going to be working? The hustle is VERY different for Streamate vs Chaturbate vs ImLive and so forth.

Re: our first show
I've never worked as a couple but general tips on SM:
- Don't give away too much for free in free chat. Teasing is one thing but don't give away anything that's likely to get them off.
- On that note, number of guests in free chat is not proportional to number of customers. Being super sexy in free chat will get you more free viewers but that doesn't translate to more money.
- Do be entertaining in free chat but leave them wanting more. Cam in a clean room and look put-together. You don't need to look perfect but for some reason I see a lot of couples camming from really gross rooms, no make up, bad lighting, looking super bored or talking to each other and ignoring the room, stuff like that. I'm not sure why that is but it's not the way to make money.
- Ignore/kick/block (your choice) the "do x then I'll pay bb, I promise!" guys. They are full of shit.
- Read the rules, know the rules, obey the rules. If you get caught breaking the rules you're gonna have a bad time.
- CHECK YOUR EARNINGS before you do anything for tips! Your earnings are updated in real time. If it's not in your earnings it's not a real tip.
- Customers are notoriously rude to the male half of couples. They'll talk shit to him, make fun of his size, criticize his performance, stuff like that. If your guy's sensitive to that sort of thing maybe try to keep him separate from the customers. A lot of couples' accounts seem to operate more like a solo girl using the guy as a stunt cock, if that makes any sense.
- When you get a private, ask for ratings/reviews! On SM I always gave a little spiel at the beginning of privates that always included something like "And if you like the show please be sure to rate me (us) 5 stars and leave a review! Thank you!" Remind them again after they cum.
- Don't move too fast. The only guys who want you to speed-strip and bang within the first minute are cheapskates and speed-wankers. The good spenders don't care if you move slowly as long as you're moving.
- Don't take off anything within the first 30 seconds. Actually it should ideally take you a lot longer than that, but definitely not within the first 30 seconds.
- Frequently check your screen to make sure you're still in private.
- Unless your guy can cum fifty times a night you're either going to have to be selective about your cum shots (e.g. only let him cum in block shows, or charge extra for a cum shot, or only do gold shows when you get them enabled, stuff like that) or you're going to have to fake it sometimes. There are some threads about fake cum floating around here somewhere, you might want to check them out. Just don't let customers catch you faking it!
And finally, pretty much any question you may have can be answered by going to Google and typing in site:stripperweb.com and then whatever you're looking for, e.g. site:stripperweb.com couple shows. In particular you'll want to check out the Streamate thread--I know it's long and filled with drama, just start from the beginning and focus on the informative posts and questions. Happy camming!

Re: our first show
With a private based site (like streamate) a lot of couples do mostly goldshows. For a girl the 30 second peepers aren't that big of a deal, but for a guy he can only cum so many times a day, and it can take time to get hard. Nobody wants to pay to see a wet noodle. You could do something like only do shows in block sessions until you are able to do goldshows.
