lol at the rate I am going since returning from Fetcon and fighting with my computers... this is about where I am at :(
This thread isn't a joke.
A lot of girls have been feeling bad about not being able to make money because they are sick, and can't cam as much as they used to.
They feel bad that when they do work, and don't make that much, they are alone.
Even if it's $20, they can still participate in this thread.
Well $20 is honestly a far fetch for me right now. I killed my computer and the one I am using can't even handle MFC or Skype. Next stop. The panhandlers thread.
slow for me at times but i make good every week. I put in plenty of hours, promo, etc. On a serious note my nearly 2k in bills wouldn't get paid if I only made $20 a week.
I see drama bout to stir in here. Sooooo
Busty exits thread!
Lots of $$$ love to all xoxo
I do not laugh about money and it has not been slow
stating its a joke
stating its not a joke
I thought you guys are serious then it was a joke then it was serious again?
I cant laugh at something that can be very serious but is joke?
Which is it
??
The next time you cuss at me is last goddamn time
No one should feel alone. Until I learned to take my money.
I use to stay on hours to make 30 bucks.... on a Saturday night.
Way back in the day I use to shoot just for payout.
The ones stating it is a joking thread need to retract the false statement.
Since this is a serious thread as the original poster pointed out, treat it as one.
People do not need to joke about something that is serious for some
Lol yeah this is all over the place, initially i laughed but someone said its serious... Exits thread O_O.
Yea. One thing I did, that sounds weird, was I did NOT check my $, at all. I'd just get a check. Now, however, my internet's bad so I haven't cammed in a while.
Some nights, my make-up will be on key, I'll be happy and smiley and bubbly, greeting gents, giving little teases, offering pictures and videos, selling cups of my tears, and STILL only manage to make $20 in 4-5 hours.
This is the harsh reality of being a sex worker. One night, it can be banging, and the next night, nothing. I encourage all bbs to never give up even when these $20 nights seem "common" and that you can't get past them. Summer is almost over, so get ready.
Sometimes, no amount of hustling the men will help. And that's OK. Refresh on your camgirl bible (The Streamate Thread, the MyFreeCams Thread, etc) and try again.
I love all you bbs and I love this thread. This will definitely help me laugh off my next $20 night.
Tbh if I always make $20 nights though I would be royally fucked so I hustle harder the next night to add an extra 0 for comfort lol.
Great joke thread ;D or is it :( I am not quite sure if I should laugh or be worried.
How can the OP say this is a serious thread and then in another thread say she's
$420 so far for the weekend? ($500 weekend hustle thread)
I guess I'm not seeing the point. Is this to make fun of others who don't make much? I don't see how this could possibly be motivating to anyone, especially someone who honestly only makes $20 in a shift/week/whatever.
^^ I didn't start this thread to make fun of anyone else's earnings.
I get tons of e-mails from girls wanting to know how I get my earnings, where do I work, etc.
When I tell them I stay on for 8-12 hours if I have to, they tell me they can't do that due to either illness, or time constraints.
A lot of girls are new, so they are confused as to why it is slow for them.
They haven't been able to participate in even the $500 a week challenge, less the latest $500 this weekend challenge.
I've been on this board for a few years, and I was once in their shoes, especially the first year of camming, and when I didn't even know this board existed.
It is a relief for them to be able to participate in a goal, small as it may seem to others, that gives them hope.
This is my last post, so enough said.
Lighten up!
I think it's fine! Just some misunderstood it? I myself have poor internet & an older computer, along with time/health restraints..so I do get it. :)
^^ Exactly my point!
I want to chime back in and say I apologize if anything I have posted here offended anyone. Like I said earlier in this thread $20 is a very far fetch for me right now not even having a decent computer to use to work, I am in a bad bad spot with a lot of things right now. I don't see anything wrong with a little humor though, what would the world be without it? Even in the situation I am in I try to keep a smile on my face and laugh, it helps me feel better than just sitting and dwelling. So I think a thread like this really does help when girls are having a tough time making money, even if it is to just put a smile on some faces :)
I'm not in the position to cam regularly. No audio, crashing computer, slow internet. $20 is a good week if I could actually cam. Still have only cammed once and made approximately $1 in like a half hour lol. This thread is comedic relief from stress I'm experiencing with camming (or really lack of camming).
Yeah I think the whole thing was not understood. I don't think us/anyone having a slow time means we are idiots for laughing about it, rather than crying. I also don't think it means our hustle is crap or that we suck. I truly think laughter is healing, and healthy, and for me it's magic when times are bad. If I didn't laugh at myself, or the situation, I'd not get out of bed ever. Anywho, I get it.
That's how I see it too. When I said a joke thread earlier, I didn't mean it in the laughing at anyone sense. I just know that I've had days recently where I'd make 5 bucks in 4 hours and if I didn't try to see humour in it or joke about building my empire with my riches, I'd sit around being depressed about it and that would show the next time I went online.
Money (or lack of) can be such a stress in life. I'm glad this thread is up. It's a way to lighten the mood and cheer each other on.
