Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
Yeah, I was naive at first too and made it clear to hosts that I don't do extras... Thought it would be an aspect of myself that would be respected by hosts- HA! It pretty much just steered me clear of their help. In a way I'm glad I told them though, because I still sell rooms on my own and this way I've never been mixed into one of these groups of girls.
BTW this is at one of the "cleaner" clubs in NYC, not PEC, for what it's worth...
Starling, what city do you dance in now if you don't mind me asking? Is it as lucrative as NYC (assuming NYC was still lucrative to you amongst the fact that you had to put up with the BS)?

PMing you
Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
Kind of lucky that both of you made the mistake of identifying yourselves as clean dancers right away! I did too with one host at my first Manhattan club, then found out it meant he would never help me. So I started hustling other hosts and eventually got thrown in with extras cliques. I saw some things I wish I could unsee! I earned twice as much when I was hooked up by "hosts" (let's just say pimps?) but it only lasted a few weeks before word got back to them that I was the rip off bitch of the group. Best IME to keep a low profile and work alone as a clean dancer. Live & learn!
Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
^ yeah I agree. I'm sure I would be making more if I was bunched in with those girls but it's just not worth it to me. I still make a really great chunk of money most nights just working on my own... And it's enough for me. I don't need to leave with $**** more and feel like I just hoed myself out and leave with coke residue on my titties from those loser guys doing lines off my chest. Ew.
Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
It's best hosts know nothing about you. I had a sucky situation where this host wouldn't let me stay longer in vip with this nice respectable whale who loved me, because he knew I don't do extras. He kicked me out and replaced with a girl (who does everything for a $100 more & raw anal) the customer wasn't even attracted to. That asshole host yelled at me to get out. I was new at the time, so I didn't want to argue with that jerk off.
Doesn't even matter if I offered a 20% tip out. These asshole hosts want to be pimps.
Not all are terrible, bc I've worked with nice hosts who have hooked me up. I just really do think that the less they know about how you are, the better. I too rather find my own customers without anyone's help. I know what customers I like making money off of and work them. That's more money in my garter.
ETA - If hosts at new clubs ask me how I work in rooms. I just give some vague response like, "it depends on the customer". And do my bimbo stripper giggle. Lol. Leave them wondering. Just try to avoid interviews.
Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
BTW for those interested, I've only ever seen these cliques of girls in room clubs like Sapphire, Hustler, etc. Not at the Flashdancers chain.
Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
Most dancers at Flash work the floor solo but there is a small clique or two who seem to just live in the blue rooms. Their host of choice leaves a big tray of napkins. It blows because it meant I'd get shut out of that room a lot (how can they have so few rooms!?). I should probably stop threadjacking too, lol.
Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
Sorry I think that was my fault (threadjacking). But just want to point out, this also happens at the club I'm at, which Starling didn't list, although it's not extreme...
Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
I'm sure all the other clubs like HQ, PEC, Scores, Ricks and all the clubs out there are the same way with clique girls.
But to keep the thread on topic, the "club" is nothing spectacular. No fancy light system, no open bar, (more like a counter top with vodka and a mini-fridge stocked with sodas), no stage of any kind, and so far the location I've been to was a small apartment. You just sit around and wait for guys to show up. A couple of years ago, yeah it probably would have been lucrative as a clean dancer. But now those customers are ruined and expect the world for a couple hundred bucks.
Just slap the word "underground" and all these guys think it's some sort of OMG mysterious club that they just HAVE to check out! But as someone else mentioned, it's better that those guys go to that place anyway because they're NOT the types of customers you would want to deal with, ever!
Re: Bliss NYC underground extras club
Yeah, I agree with the point that the customers that want extras are attracted to these places and we're better off letting them spend their time there, but I guess part of me also considers the notion that if these "clubs" (which sound like they're just apartments that have been propped with red couches, dim lighting, and a half ass "bar") didn't exist, just like if "extras" didn't exist in the actual club, guys WOULD pay "$$$-$$$$" for VIP in a manhattan club without a sex expectation because they would have no other option short of hiring an escort. It's just annoying because it's another option for these moron dudes...
