My stage name is Farrah. Most of the time, customers can't hear me over the music and call me Sarah, so I have to tell them to switch the S, to an F like frisky, which is how I'm feeling. Most of the guys laugh at that.
When I start working again I want a really exotic name but I cannot figure out what I want to use. I've been looking through baby name lists to figure out a huge list to choose from.
I dance by Ivy, which I picked because I have red hair and like to wear green, so I can tell guys it's Ivy like Poison Ivy from Batman. Half the time that goes over really well, but sometimes I get jokesters saying, Don't give me a rash. Ha. Ha.
Most girls at my club have pretty normal names. A lot of girls just use their real names, which I don't like to do... Even though I waitressed there for a while so most of the regulars know my real name anyway. Oh well. The new guys I meet don't.
I'm Hunter
I like when girls have more masculine names, Ryder, Dylan, Alex
then I also like Maddison, Chante, Ashley
we have a Sassy at our club, Espeon, Bunny - all stupid
& a unique one is EJ! they're her initials. it sounds great
My name is Luna (obviously) but the other names I've wanted were Padme (from Star Wars), Pandora (from the Anne Rice Book), Rowan (from Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches books), or Kolevra (from Lucky Number Slevin...It's means Bad Dog so I could tell customers it means "I'm a bad bitch" if I was into the "badass bitch" persona.)
The coolest names I've heard are Roman, Violet, Stella, China Doll, Madison, and Jezebel. The weirdest are Blue, Zombie (though the DJ has a cool line for her: "She's got a body that can wake the living dead!"), Deluxe, LJ, and Alabama.
I've danced by Wednesday, Cory, Leah, Roxanne and Haley. Wednesday is my favorite but doesn't go over so well with custies and isn't exactly "sexy" so I've been using more "real" sounding names.
Favorite stage names I've heard: Felony, Nova, Deja, Seven. I like weird and different! I don't think I could pull any of them off though.
I wish I could dance by my real first name "Lindsay" (I go by my middle name) however the last 2 clubs I worked at wouldn't let me because it's "unsafe." Also the upscale clubs wouldn't let me dance by anything "weird" and would sometimes even pick our names for us if they didn't like what we come up with.
I just don't like to use my real name because it sounds unsexy to me. I kind of like to have a totally different persona I use in the club, it makes me feel sexier and more confident. Like, in real life, I might be shy approaching a guy, but Ivy isn't. But I've noticed since I started dancing a little bit of Ivy working her way into my day-to-day life--usually in good ways. Stripping has made me a lot more assertive and comfortable talking to and approaching new people haha. So to conclude this weird tangent, it's great if you're confident enough to dance under your real name, I wish I was. I don't know whether to think it's annoying that your clubs won't let you use your real name or kind of nice that they actually give a fuck about your safety in some way... I don't think my club cares at all about ours. But definitely picking your name for you is weird. They're not your mom!
Imo Alexa is the best stripper name ever.
I'm thinking to change to a Greek name as everyone guesses I've got Greek background anyway. Eleni maybe…
I would never dance under my real name. For one its not a sexy name and two the least people know about me the better!
