baby wipes, 3 changes of outfits (I don't like having too many and rummaging through a bunch of crap), travel sized deodorant, body spray, gum, travel size contact solution (my contacts get dry throughout the night) extra pair of shoes, essential make up (powder, lipstick, mascara, eyeliner, concealer), a snack (usually granola bar or banana), tampons, scissors (to cut tampon string, cut strings off outfits, etc), garter and rubber bands. I leave my phone and bill fold locked in my car. My phone distracts me and I make more $ if I don't bring it in. I keep everything in a large purse, keep all my money on me at all times with the garter/rubber bands. I usually come in with a little cash to buy a bottle of water or coffee from the bar. Hope that helps!
For the financially strapped:
*1 pair of shoes
*One complete outfit
*A handbag for cash/ phone
*Cab fare (or a way home)
*ID
*Makeup
*Hair products for touch-ups
*Body spray
*Breath mints
*Baby wipes (optional. If you can afford to buy them. They come in darn handy for quick wash-ups after a particularly sweaty day)
Oh and a small hair brush! I do my hair before work but it usually needs at least one comb through before my shift is over. :)
I get mine for $1 at the dollar store, and they come in small little packets which is perfect for dancers. :) Also, OP, check the club to make sure you can use a hand bag or if you need a garter. I used to carry a small purse to put my cash in but my club doesn't allow it because they had problems with girls hiding drugs in them.
I suggest bringing a large zipping freezer bag to separate your dirty clothes from your clean ones. I also bring one to just throw my money in after I do a stage set so I can get back on the floor quickly.
Also bring money for cover and DJ Tip Out. My club is set at $10 for each so I bring enough so I never leave in debt.
There does seem to be a lot of people that need tips: house mom, bartender, security, etc. I imagine it can get somewhat expensive and is definitely something to consider when adding up profit.
Oooh, these are Great! More please
My current work bag:
-shoes (also back up shoes if I'm traveling)

I'm a minimalist... I see girls lugging in these huge suitcases and I just can't.
- Usually 2 outfits, on each end of the spectrum (1 pink and cute, 1 black and leathery)
- Shoes
- Makeup bag
- Deodorant, spray
- Straightener if I need to do my hair
- Lock for locker
- Hand sanitizer wipes
- A Hot Pocket or other snack, usually a thermos of water
- Mini wrist purse thing for carrying money/phone

my bag of makeup
phone charger..don't want my phone dying when i'm leaving the club in case of emergency
& i always pack lunch, so i don't have to waste money ordering out and tipping the delivery guy
huge bottle of water, you need to stay hydrated!!
I change my outfit often to play to my mood or to the crowd and I also do my hair and makeup at work so I don't attract attention on my way in so I bring everything but the kitchen sink. I have one tote bag for my shoes (one or two pairs of heels and sometimes boots) and to throw my dirty outfits in at the end of the night so they don't taint everything else with their stink. Then I carry another tote or a backpack which holds the following:
flat iron
brush
makeup kit (I do the same couple of looks so it's not huge and I keep hair pins and jewelry in it, too)
buttload of two piece outfits
one short dress
one gown
variety of leg warmers and thigh highs
variety of thongs, I like to change them every three or four hours
money bags
garters
body spray
usually a wig or half wig
tampons and little scissors
pussy spray (used only outside the thong and as emergency foot and armpit deodorant, it works great for that)
toothpaste and toothbrush, sometimes mouthwash if I've had something garlicky or oniony to eat that day
sample sized bottle of super light lotion for random dry spots that I might have missed when I lotioned up at home
sally hansen spray on tan (which I put on at home but like to have on hand in case I get a weird pimple or a bruise and want to touch up with extra coverage)
nail file
water bottle
coffee tumbler with good coffee that I make at home
handkerchiefs (to sit on so I don't get butt cooties from the chairs)
knee wrap
bandaids
arnica gel
neosporin
and a partridge and a pear tree.
I leave wipies, a wig brush, hand sanitizer, hair spray and a plastic grocery bag (to throw ones in on the nights where I get rained on or something and don't want to deal with having it on my person all night or don't want to deal with organizing it right away) in my locker. Aaaand I bring in my regular purse which always has gum and a little cash as well as my phone and the usual purse stuff. I could keep more stuff in my locker because I keep a lock on it and I've had it for several years but I'm always paranoid that something will happen and I'll lose my stuff if I take more than a week off.
My bff used to do her hair and makeup at home and then kept everything else in a medium sized purse, including her shoes. I admire that.
Shoes in a purse? How would she have space for anything else? When I have my regular purse on me, I've been told it feels as heavy as a brick. I prefer being overly prepared. Btw, what brand is the pussy spray. Never heard of it.
I still always check this before I leave for work

She'd put in one pair of shoes, two bikini outfits, lipstick, ID and a little cash and that was it. She did everything at home so she'd just show up and be on the floor in like two minutes. It was impressive. And the pussy spray is just Summer's Eve. It's technically a deodorant for the vag but it works for armpits and feet in a pinch.
The #1 thing I see newbies forget/not think of is a LOCK.
Also, think of your body chemistry and your bad habits and what you need to feel normal. If you get cranky when your blood sugar dips, bring a clif bar or a banana and some cashews or whatever you like to snack on. If you drink coffee, bring a caffeine pill or two because there might not be a coffee station. If you need alcohol to flirt with strangers, bring a flask. Always bring a bottle of water and some sort of pain reliever.
Other than that, my only advice is to never depend on anyone else to supply anything. Sure, someone else might have super glue/q-tips/bobby pins/whatever, but you don't want to be the one going around asking your new co-workers for favors. Not a good first impression to make.

I try to get ready at home so as soon as I get to work I'm ready to get out on the floor. Before I leave home I use this setting spray called All Nighter by Urban Decay and my makeup looks great for over 12 hours. The only beauty item I bring with me is my lipstick. I bring a small bottle of that summers eve spray, a travel sized deodorant, and small bottle of perfume. One dress, one bikini, one set of lingerie, and a pair of shoes. Some days I bring a snack, most days I don't. I use a purse as my work bag, sometimes I see girls coming to work with those little suitcases people use for carry on luggage and I always wondered why they bring so much stuff.
Never thought of getting gorilla glue. Good idea.
I can't tell you how many times I've had a shoe break on me and I had prayed for gorilla glue..now I never forget it.
^Gorilla glue is great for fixing shoes at home, but it needs to set with clamps (or with whatever, I use old bike tubes) for hours. I don't really get the point of bringing it to work.
I have multiple bags inside my bag.
One bag is makeup.
Another is hair brush, heat protection serum, dry shampoo and hairspray.
I carry a wand or straightening iron separately in a thermal pouch (so it doesn't melt anything else in my bag and mostly so I don't have to leave it out hoping it'll cool off but instead some random bitch comes over to use it or steal it.)
Another bag has a razor, deodorant, perfume, bronzing lotion, tampons.
A small pouch with all my fashion jewelry.
2 to 3 outfits.
One or two pairs of shoes.
Wallet and cellphone and earbuds.
Clutch/wristlet for while at work which contains pole grip, hand sanitizer, mints and lipstick.
