Re: Lingerie too classy???
Well I notice with most girls when they first start dancing tend to wear lingerie and when they start to make money they invest in a few outfits. I think you'd be fine with lingerie, if not I would check out the dancer store around you if there are any. Do they require any sort of outfit, like two pieces or bottom must be covered? I've worked in clubs where I have worn just a bra and a thong
Re: Lingerie too classy???
Basically we can wear anything as long as it's sexy he said that's really the only requirement
Re: Lingerie too classy???
You'll be fine starting with VS stuff, after you make some money consider investing in actual dancewear. Lingerie can look classy, but you'll want to be buying stuff that's made for dancers- remember that when he finds his wife unattractive, the first thing they do is run off to vs or wherever to pick up lingerie. You're a fantasy and you don't want to be wearing anything he'll see at home.
Also a lot of that won't hold up to the kind of work we put our outfits through- You'll be dancing in the outfit and taking them off and putting them on all night.
And lastly, don't worry about what the other girls are wearing. Find what works on you. I've worked clubs where virtually all the girls wear bras and panties they got from wherever, and it seems like all you have to do to clean house in some of those places is show up in a stripper dress.
Re: Lingerie too classy???
I think you should invest in dancewear. Lingerie looks pretty, but it's not made for dancing. It's not structurally made for dancers either. I would also think might be a little uncomfortable and difficult to take on and off.
Re: Lingerie too classy???
A lot of older men like lingerie. Stockings come to mind. Some guys have a fetish for that stuff. If you're the only girl in the club who is wearing lingerie in a sea of bikinis it could work in your favor and attract some older spenders.
Re: Lingerie too classy???
Anything you have, be it VS lingerie or whatever else, will do for your first few shifts. There's no point in spending money at this point before you've even started and determined if dancing is for you. Once you've worked a few shifts, you'll have a better lay of the land in your club and what outfits work and don't. Lingerie is a totally normal look in many of the clubs I've worked and it can be a moneymaker. Don't overthink it!
Re: Lingerie too classy???
Just wear whatever you feel sexy and confident in at first and then see what works for you. I've found that I make the most money when I wear stockings and a garter over the typical bikini set most girls wear. Although the norm is a skimpy dress/neon bikini and the customers go for that, I'm also the only one who wears stockings so that sets me apart. I do the worst when I wear legitimate lingerie. So just see what works.
