Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
Other than fees, what is the difference (for Streamate payments) with Payoner ACH Direct Deposit versus Wire Transfer as a payment method on Streamate? Does one come before the other? I know one is $3/load and the other is $40/load, but other than that, is there actually a difference?
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
I believe the difference would be when. ACH from payoneer would take up to 2-3 business to hit your account after sm pays out to payoneer on Friday. So you would get paid on the following Monday or Tuesday if you choose ACH. Wire transfers would either get sent on Wednesday (when payroll pays out) or Friday. There would also be a $25 fee if the transfer is returned so if you choose this method, double check your info. Since they send payoneer payments on Fridays, they might send wire transfers on Fridays as well. You would most likely get the wire transfer first.
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
Yah basically with wire it's in your account the same day it's sent to you, but every bank I have used charged $12-25 to accept the wire on top of the $40 SM charges to send it. That's why I don't use wire.
ACH is only $1.50 with Payoneer now but it does take 2-3 days to hit your account. No extra fees though.
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
i dont know if i should do wire...or just get regular checks.
$200 a month to get paid is kind of ridiculous.

Not sure if Katy can still accept Streamate transfers into her program but she offers weeklypay wires if you don't need dailypay. There's no minimum ($20) and I don't think she's even charging for weekly wires anymore. I think it was like $5 but iirc she does them for free instead of $40.

They don't do transfers anymore apparently, and I wanted to stay non-studio anyway. Thx
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
Figured I would bump this since I am trying to figure out the answer....
I'm definitely deciding to switch to wire transfer because I found out today that Capital One 360 does not charge an additional incoming wire fee like all my other banks have! And I'm just too weary about 3rd party payment places anymore. Also the $40 fee from SM is tax deductible so that is good.
Can anyone confirm what day wires are sent and hit your account? Is it Friday or Wednesday?
Also I noticed if you want to switch to wire on SM you have to input the date you signed up to Streamate Models on the wire form. So have that info handy. I checked the date on my performer agreement that I signed but I also emailed Liz just to confirm since there is a $25 return fee if there is any incorrect info. From my experience in the past, wires are a lot more touchy about having every single thing correct.
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
Has anyone figured out exactly when wire transfers from SM are sent yet? I'm moving out of state a day or so before my check comes and I don't plan on driving back to get it.
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
Depending on your bank you will get it Friday morning or before 4pm. I usually get it 7am Friday morning.
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
Thank you so much, Ms. Lacey, now I can finally relax.
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
^^ I was told Friday as well. But, please pay attention to the details that you need in your payment profile that sm needs, or it won't go through.
I did my first wire(or tried to) a few weeks ago. I didn't have a couple of things correct... like the day I got accepted to sm.. I really don't know, Is it the day I got approved? The day I started streaming?
I just gave up on it, because It was too confusing, and I was running out of time before cut-off. but Liz said she would help me if I ever want to set it up again.
I do fed ex, when I need the $$ before Monday. You get a tracking number from SM in your personal e-mail, so its very easy.
It comes on Friday morning, and I deposit it right away.

Yes email Liz for the day to put as your sign up date, she got back to me quickly with the right date. It was a few days off from what I thought, so I'm glad I asked!
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
Thanks, ladies. I decided that I would do a "test" first by requesting it a few weeks early to get on a pay schedule. I'll definitely email Liz. I keep all of my documents so I know when I signed up but I'll be sure to email her first to make sure. I do fedex checks weekly now but with this transition I can't count on waiting for a check.
Re: Payoneer ACH Direct Deposit vs. Wire Transfer (Streamate)
Can anyone send me Liz's email address via PM, please? I have some questions as well and perhaps she can provide me good info.
