Re: Should I switch clubs??!
It may be a club that attracts customers during the day/ weeknights.
Re: Should I switch clubs??!
^Yeah maybe try a dayshift there and see if you do any better? Also check out other clubs in the mean time. Were the uglier girls making a lot more $ than you? If so it might just be an extras place.
Re: Should I switch clubs??!
They were making about the same I think. Maybe a little less..and it opens at 4 pm so there's not really a day shift /:
Re: Should I switch clubs??!
EEEK! Then I would get outta there girl! Definitely check out other clubs. I mean, everyone has bad days and every club has slow days, but if it's consistently slow that's not good. Don't worry too much about starting at a bigger/busier place. Your first busy weekend might be a little overwhelming but you'll catch on quickly.
Re: Should I switch clubs??!
I went to this other club a few weeks ago strictly as a customer to get a feel. I went twice on a weeknight and weekend. And people consistently coming in. Even on slower times still people coming in and out. This place...it was midnight on a Friday night with not ONE customer...when the girls stage sets came on they were either all goofing off or just sitting there since there were NO customers..4 at most that I've ever seen..I mean I've only been there three times but still. Seems pretty not worth the hour trip one way..
Re: Should I switch clubs??!
Definitely try somewhere new. You literally have nothing to lose if the earning potential at this club is so low. And if for some reason the new club(s) you try out also suck, there's nothing stopping you from going back. It's not like you're stuck at the new club forever. Dancers migrate around a lot in this industry, and it's not uncommon to bounce between clubs. Dancing isn't like a regular job where you have to give two weeks notice or whatever -- you go where the money is.
Re: Should I switch clubs??!
Thanks! The owner randomly texted me after I left lastnight and was like "I swear it's busier than this normally" it's like he's begging me to stay..bad sign? O_o

Re: Should I switch clubs??!
IDK if I read this on here, but recently it's been stuck in my head that "if the pretty girls are working, there's money there. If there's NOT any pretty girls or very few of them, there's probably not money there."
While I don't agree 100 percent, it is definitely a thought worth paying attention to when trying new clubs I think!

Yep, it sounds like a place that is struggling to get business. If this place had no problems attracting customers, then the manager probably wouldn't have sent that text to you. He is trying to get new girls to stay, because all the veteran ones probably left a long time ago. I think you could throw a rock and find a better club! Try out another club ASAP!
Re: Should I switch clubs??!
^ yea girl try other places! I've been at my current club now for the last 6 months & I've had maybe 15 good nights since I've been there :/ My mngr does the same shit too, she'll try & blame me or the other dancers that there's not enough custys or bc we come in to work too late. She's a real bitch. It's only been opened up for a year now & we don't get much buisness either so I'm traveling this upcoming week to greener pastures. Good luck!
Re: Should I switch clubs??!
Jeeez, I'm starting to realize I've spent WAY too much time at a dive too..they're sooo easy to get comfy at but when the money is bad there, it's awful, like gas money awful!! My home club/dive was starting to get really money hungry too, like running tabs on girls who didn't even make tipout (due to so few custies being there all night).
As scary as it was at first, it's really great to get out of that "dive bubble" though. Lol..there's a whoooole sea of $$ and big whales outside that dive!!
