I think the club you are thinking of is in glasgow. I definitely wouldn't recommend it though since the girls only got £5 from each £10 dance. I think anyone would struggle to make decent money from that. Where do you live? In scotland?
Also I wouldn't worry to much about the belly fat most clubs in the UK are not fussy about things like that. As long as your relatively slim ie. Not more than a uk size 14 I think you will be fine.
There are some threads about Edinburgh if you do a search.
didn't shanna work there
I didn't work at Baby Dolls, but I did work in Edinburgh. It's best to avoid the clubs in the triangle IMO because they have cheaper dances and the crowds are mostly drunk tourists. I'd say Baby Dolls is the best club of the 3 though, so if you're really set on it, go for it.
Around the corner you have Bottoms Up, which is where I'd recommend. The pricing structure is more lucrative, stage shows aren't a huge deal, and the girls/staff are very nice, especially to newbies. The only drawback is that weekdays are a waste of time and they really want you to work some of them. As long as you say you're a student or have another job, they'll probably let it slide and let you only work weekends though. You will have to start on a weekday, but I don't believe they charge a house fee when you're new new. They even buddy you up with one of the more seasoned dancers for "training" for a few shifts before having you properly start and pay the fee.
You stay fully clothed on stage. Dances are topless or nude, but most of the dancers only really sell nude dances since the club's official set up is silly -- 10£ for 3 mins topless or 20£ for 6 mins nude. I just sold nude dances at £20 a song.

I'm from Glasgow and I'm thinking of auditionig at seventh heaven! I have did a few pole dance classes but I'm still not a great dancer !! Any tips?
