winter college vacation. Portland and Seattle or las vegas strip trip?
Hi hunnies!
So im a new stripper. Im going to take advantage of my break December 26th to Jan 4th and experience stripping in either of those two locations on my own and get a motel every night.
Any advice from those that have travel danced before? Advice on areas? Ways to save and make money on travel dancing? All that good stuff. :)
Thank you

i wouldnt recommend any new dancer take a strip trip by themselves especially during winter break. money around xmas and nye can be very random-anywhere. i traveled a lot when i was new but it was always because i took trips to visit friends or bfs and i would just work a few nights while i was there, so i didnt have any pressure to bank and i didnt have to pay for a hotel.
hotels in vegas during nye will be insane. you will have to book way in advance and im assuming that itll be min 1000, most likely 1500 for those days for a dump. flights will be expensive too. if you wait just a week or two you could get a hotel for 50/night.

I second what charlotte said. Very expensive in Vegas. Why not j to ust stay home and work those days if you want to make extra cash? Rather than gambling on another city and spending money to travel?

thanks girls great point. I may wait a couple weeks to go late January. think thats a good time for vegas for maybe 5 nights ? thank you!

^^^ also, keep in mind that in cities like Vegas and Seattle, you're going to be forced to 'waste' money paying for the dancer's license to work for just a few nights ... and you may also wind up 'wasting' several nights worth of earnings potential if local gov't offices remain closed on Friday Dec 26th thus preventing you from actually getting the license ( thus actually being able to dance ) until Monday the 29th !!!
Also, in terms of club 'activity' level, Christmas weekend is likely to suck. New Years weekend is likely to be slamming. Late January is likely to be 'slow'.

yeah the sheriffs card is a bitch to get. the station is open on mon-sat but could be closed that sat too for an extended holiday.
vegas is always a gamble because big conventions always mean a big influx of girls so you have to work harder but in general, late jan is good here and i stopped working party days (nye, halloween, edc) because the club becomes packed with early 20s broke neo-ravers that just want to keep the plur going and never spend. barf.
also the strip will be closed nye which cuts off traffic and even though guys can easily get a cab out of their hotel on the side exits, they wont bother. the taxis here take guys in circles so they always think the clubs are miles away from the strip even though you could literally walk if there was an appropriate pedestrian route. so when the strip gets shut down theyll stay at the hotels.

Depending on your price range, check out airbnb as an alternative to a motel (https://www.airbnb.com/). They tend to be nicer, and they almost always have a full kitchen (which helps you save on food costs when traveling). Plus, places that rent on airbnb feel more like home and are a bit less depressing than white-walled seedy motel rooms. A lot of motels seem like they should be low-priced but end up being $60-$100/night anyway. So IMO, airbnb is always worth a check - just filter within your price range to see if there's anything available that catches your eye!

I live in Phoenix. Phoenix is good during the winter only. You can bank even around Xmas, New Years Eve, Thanksgiving etc because of the snowbirds, golfers, tourists who use Phoenix as a second home. There is a license around $28. I would recommend Phoenix. It is inexpensive to fly and plenty of hotels. Remember the Superbowl will be here in Feb. Good luck.
