Referral bonus's! Have they ever worked for you?
I wanted to ask anyone's thoughts on Referral Bonus programs with their cam sites. Do they ever work in your advantage. I ask because the site I am on is now offering $500 referral bonus programs and wanted to know if anyone has been burned by a friend they referred. I don't want anyone I refer to come back and bite me in the A$$. Please let me know your thoughts. :)

I've had minimal luck with referral programs. The most I've personally made was $100 (10% of the account owners over all earnings that pay period). The next month I made $5 off the same referral. There just isn't a way to make it reliable, which is my main problem with these kinds of programs.

Nope. I had one of the most reputable referral places basically tell me I was doing too good and they didn't feel like giving me the 4 figure bonus I had earned. So screw them. I know they got their cut. He's lucky he lives in Italy. Fuckwad.

I made over $500 once from referring a model a few years ago. Shortly after they took away the referral $ :( but it's cool because I get money for my model link now, on a steady basis. So far only streamate has paid me for stuff like that.

Well I have referred a couple of friends on to SF and SM never got any bonus from SM but I have always got my SF bonus. Just wondered if anyone chose not to refer because of the bad mojo their friends may carry.
Re: Referral bonus's! Have they ever worked for you?
Yes< I have from SM. The 10% for the first 5 week time period. Thing is you may sign a girl up, but doesn't mean she will cam during that time period. :(
Naked used to pay out $500 for referring another model but ONLY if she completed 20 hours in private. Which many don't. Considering 80% of models who sign up to cam sites quite within a 2 week period doesn't make it worth it to me.
In order to prevent scams most do come with the stipulation of the new model working or earning a certain amount of money.
