Hustling in the VIP section
So there are some girls at my club who will spend the whole night with a guy or group of guys who have bought a bottle and are sitting in the VIP. Apparently the guy or guys say they will take care of the girl and tip her all night for her time and company. When she goes on stage they tip her a ton, and even though they get no dances, she's given a good amount of money for just hanging out with them.
My question is: how do these girls keep the conversation going and the tips going? How do they ask for more? I was doing that once and the guy gave me like $20 every 20 minutes which SEEMS like a lot... But truth is it's not considering that it's $300 for a half hour at my club. How do you ask for more without coming off as greedy? When's the best time to ask for more tips? Because I know you need to wait a while before you flat out ask because the guy will get turned off and think you're impatient and rude. Idk. Someone give me hints and tips!! I want to be more demanding but not turn the guy off

Yeah? You have proof of this? Let's be real. The girl who is truly getting tipped for her time appropriately out on the floor ($300 per half hour) is the exception. NOT the rule.
Your past circumstance of $20 per 20 minutes sounds much more typical to me. That's $60 per hour. $480 for 8 hours worth of work. Some girls are happy with that. You, however, come across as a dancer with her eyes set on bigger and better prizes....
Re: Hustling in the VIP section
Don't think of yourself as greedy for asking for tips/dance money
If a customer has been to a strip club before then he knows what time it is.
Re: Hustling in the VIP section
I always blame the club/manager.
"I'd love to keep talking to you but if I stay here for too long without you tipping or buying me a drink, I'll have to leave because I'll get in trouble. *sadface*"
It's normally true anyway. The clubs I have worked at you normally had 10-15 minutes to close a sale or you had to move on.

I know it's not the rule. But it happens all of the time. My question is how? And you're right, the way I get tipped for my time IS typical. That is exactly why I am wondering HOW these girls manage to get their house paid off and basically get TONS of money thrown their way for just sitting and drinking. My guess is just that they know how to spot the ones that have a lot of money and don't care much about spending. I only had this once. I'm the champagne room I was getting tipped hundred dollar bills for just talking. It was the best. Once and never again though lol.
And I am perfectly happy with the money that I make. But I can't help but be curious about how these girls can so easily demand money and actually get it. I hate sounding greedy!

Re: Hustling in the VIP section
Idk if you are still fairly new to dancing, or fairly new at the particular club, but that could be a factor. Sm of these customers could be regulars of the girls they are patronising, & of course it takes time to cultivate such generous regulars. Sm girls bring regulars from their previous clubs as well.
They may be promising OTC, or promising w/ no intention of delivering, in other words strongly leading the customer on. If that's the case then they are playing w/ fire.
If these are girls who have been dancing for a lot longer, then it may just be a matter of experience + opportunity.
Re: Hustling in the VIP section
Promising OTC was definitely one of my suspicions.
Re: Hustling in the VIP section
Ive heard dancers flat out ask customers for house fee. Some customers have a captain save a ho complex and fall for a dancers "poor me I can't make house fee" hustle. Thing is the dancer has hundreds in her purse but play broke sympathy role to get more money the 'easy' way. You could try this if you are good at tugging heart strings and making someone do something for you out of sympathy.
As you get better you learn how to spot customers who will spend on you or get to the spenders faster. Mostly through body language like eye contact and conversation. Just practice saying closing lines once youve built rapport with a customer. Learn some sales strategies you can apply and eventually you'll get the hang of it.
Try not to overthink or focus too much on the other girls. Like Aniela mentioned earlier they may have more experience, more regulars, etc. Just compare yourself to yourself. Like did you earn more this week than last week? If so then youre hustle is good.
Re: Hustling in the VIP section
i have nights like this all the time and usually a guy offers a large amount upfront and continues to offer every so often. if its been awhile since they last tipped me i interrupt whatever conversation were having and say that weve been talking too much and he needs another dance, at which point hell either get the dance and automatically pay a lot more for it or hell remind me that he doesnt want any dances and just give me more money.
i wouldnt sit for 60/hr but i do occasionally for 100/hr if its at the beginning of the shift and its dead, especially because im always drinking with customers like this so its nice to get a strong buzz on and my house paid immediately and then th rest of the shift is awesome. after you factor in the time it takes to walk to vip, get settled in a room with bottle picked out and delivered, credit card receipt signed, etc, and then subtract the funny money charge and host tips, 100/hr isnt a huge discount from a half hr vip at my club, and its easy money.

The more you just talk the less you make! Thats like in the top 5 of stripper rules!
