Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
I am aware of the fact that they are a studio of sorts. One of their sites (privatecams.com) is essentially a mirror of Chaturbate, only with their company branding. When I brought this up to the person I was in email contact with, they told me they had no idea what I was talking about and had never even heard of Chaturbate. LOL.
I had to speak to 3 different people only to get even a semi acknowledgement about this. It's VERY important to me to know what sites I am being promoted on, but this doesn't seem to matter to internetmodelling.com at all.
The entire sign up process has been a complete nightmare...like seriously. Ive spoken with 6 different people there, was told after almost a week and a million "issues" that my account was approved, and yet its still showing as unapproved and I cannot make money. I get passed on from one person in their company to another,....none of them seem to communicate with each other, and still nothing has been solved.
Im just wondering a) Does anyone here have any experience in dealing with them and how was it?
and
b) What has your experience been on webcammodels.com?
Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
why are you signing up with a studio?
I mean most if not all have knowledge that these site take a large chuck of ur pay. If you are having issues with the signup, go straight to streamate and signup to get the full %.
Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
That really is Chaturbates twin. I personally havent heard of this company before but they list their info as Multi Media, LLC 23615 El Toro Rd #X344, Lake Forest, CA 92630. When you type that information in Google or Yahoo, the search links it to Chaturbate. That is Chaturbates address, its listed on their site. Which is weird if this site is not owned by Chaturbate and claim they dont know who they are.
I found this when I searched who owns the domain

I only realized that it was a studio midway through the process. The thing im curious about is webcammodels.com
You can go on there and sign up, without having to send in age verifying documents immediately and start camming. The site/layout is very weird, unlike any other cam sites ive worked with, but its hella busy.Im trying to figure out where the cams are being mirrored as its clear all the traffic isnt just from webcammodels.com Its just a very strange site. Like I said though, its very very busy and I was able to make pretty decent money on my first day, even without my full account being approved.
Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
Noooooooooooooooooo.................why'd you keep going if you realized it was a studio, we would have helped you sign up directly :(
Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
Personally, I would avoid. They take 15% of your income. Which the main site is taking a percentage as well. You will make more on your own. TRUST ME!
Read these: https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...avoid-studios)
http://joboncam.com/webcam-sites-wha...hould-i-avoid/
If you do need a studio, try out Katy's https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...ht=instant+pay
Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
If you have not broadcast yet, then don't. Sign up with Streamate directly or go to Katy's studio. IM will take your $ and won't give anything in return. For Streamate, earning 20% vs 35% is a big deal - it really adds up. IM will claim you get better placement but I can't remember anyone offering solid proof of this. And they have 6 people working for them? Wow, I thought it was a one-woman-meathook operation. haha
The other thing is when you leave this studio they will make you wait a year before you can cam with SM again. I am not familiar with any IM/CB relationship so I cannot comment on that.
Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
I wouldnt recommend working on any site that doesnt want your age verification information before you cam. That is really shady and if they are US based. illegal. They are legally required to make sure you or 18 or older to work for them.

Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
Oh, wow. I was wondering if anyone would ever mention webcammodels.com as I have worked on it, but have NEVER found any substantial information. I worked there through IM as my first webcam site. First off, it's NOT a lucrative site. There is way less traffic (usually only 1200 members on at a time) This is an amature, amature site lol. Only good thing about it is it's very easy to work on because the guy's expectations are really low (their expectations seem to match the quality of the site, because it's really crappy & unstable) so this means you don't have to have great cam feed, run audio, or really even put much effort in as a performer. The guys are generally more vanilla & easy going. 70% off the time in private I get paid just to strip- that's it. Really this site is lame but I admit I still go there when I'm feeling beyond lazy and need to cam because it's better than nothing! The average I make on there is probably $15/hr TBH and I am one of the top earners so... it's pretty grim to say the least. They run the site under the pretense of being a social network, so it's really better for exhibitionists who just want attention. I earned the most when I first started but b/c it's such a small community the "new girl" shine wears off pretty quick. Essentially that's been my experience. Good luck!
Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
Sneaky suspicion that this is a sock puppet ^^
Anytime IM is mentioned they create a new account and try to candy coat over their thievery and overall shadyness. If you really want to know about IM, they are a lucrative studio that preys on new and naive cam girls and trapping them. I avoid these "amateur" sites because traffic sucks. Work on a site that does have more traffic. More traffic = more shows = more money. Make sure you sign up for those sites on your own. It's not hard to fill documents out on your own.
Also they always say we advertise for you, so you don't have to. I am a top model on streamate and I've never did any marketing other then twitter. So bullshit.

Absolutely true.
I cringe whenever I see a new model has been trapped by these slimy assholes.
Re: Experience w/ Internetmodelling.com or Webcammodels.com
Lol I'm a sock puppet? But did u even read my post...? I trashed the whole site saying it's not lucrative, bad traffic, crappy quality, and "pretty grim"! SMH. Anyways... I understand being skeptical because IM are indeed "slimy". I agree 100% and was myself taken advantage of as a new model. This is unfortunate. But I was just trying to answer the question about experience using webcammodels.com (which no one else answered) and that's my honest opinion.

Sorry to hear they got you Elise.
We are perhaps a bit too suspicious because they are so relentless in trying to trap hosts into signing with them that now even the name here is blocked and it has to be misspelled to even show up on the board.
If I were you I'd quit streaming through IM, find other sites to work and stay away for a year so you can sign up directly. You'll work yourself to exhaustion for them and never get ahead.

With their track record of making new false accounts and making their first post on any thread relating to them. So understand why I said that. If you aren't, awesome! Sorry about that. My walls are high.
They are pretty sneaky and it saddens me when I see a girl stuck in their toxic studio.
Wish you the best!
