Has the mystery finally been solved?

I believe it. I'm a sometimes-squirter. I had a boyfriend who was really, really good at oral and he made me do it all the time. When we stripped the mattress once, it was stained--brownish yellow. Gross. He was the first guy to make me squirt, or come, ever. I never had squirted on my own before. I was afraid later boyfriends would be grossed out by it, luckily they weren't. I read some opinions online that differed widely and I chose to believe the whole it's not pee thing for some years.
Fast forward to camming. Squirting on cam led me to notice that sometimes when I squirted it was clear, sometimes yellowish. I also noticed I could force myself to squirt by pressing down and kind of forcing an orgasm out that was more like just a body contraction. I believe squirting comes from when the body clamps down hard when you come forcefully and the liquid is projected from the bladder. It does come from the urethra, after all. I stopped doing it on cam because it was just too messy and draining, and thinking it was surely pee put me off. I think the ladies who always have clear squirt and can do it a lot really keep hydrated. I don't think it's bad or wrong at all, and I can still find it a turn on. But I'm not totally anti-pee play either. Hell, I let a fellow camgirl squirt on me, it was hot. I didn't care if it was pee or not. I don't squirt when I come as much anymore because I've learned how to come and I don't have to clamp down to try to force an orgasm out. For most of my life I came in a very specific way, laying on my stomach and humping my hands. I had to sort of learn how to do it another way in front of partners or on film/cam.
I swear I've assumed this was the truth for the longest. I was especially curious when I was working in the medical field. I'd definitely like to see the actual research/study. Going on a search...
^Agreed, let us know anyone who finds the actual study. Pretty unprofessional of the author of the article not to include it!
Ive always read that when they tested the fluid, that it wasnt urine, and that it came from something called the skenes gland? Meh whatevs
^The article said there was a little prostatic (?) fluid with it sometimes, that's probably the Skene's gland contribution. But logically, how much fluid could a gland emit? Not as much as a super-squirter, for sure.
haha yea I agree, the super gushers I think has to be pee. Ive only ever had maybe a tablespoon or two of clear liquid ever come out, and very rarely has it ever happened.
I'm also a "sometimes squirter". I can make myself squirt with my hitachi, but have only done it a few times during sex. I've always suspected it was urine or a "mix" of urine and something else. Just from the way it smells and the amounts made me suspect of it being pee. Doesn't make a difference either way because it feels good lol...it's an amazing release!
It's a fun subject to discuss! Thank you ladies for taking the time to read the article, even though it may not be the best written lol.
I've had up to around a cup before and yup, I think it's pee.
I don't care. It sells. Why worry about the details, I just want to make money off it & men love it.
Sam
I am a super squirter and Im pretty sure its pee but it doesn't matter cause it feels great to squirt when I get stimulated the right way. For me it wont happen from clitoral stimulation only penetration and only if Im comfortable with my partner AND if I am not going to damage something (ie my mattress) when doing it.
When I do it on cam the guys love it and that is how I make my money so pee or not Im going to stimulate myself to squirt every time cause it pays the bills and always leaves me loving my job}:D
And One other thing. Peeing is Illegal/not permitted on most cam sites or clip sites where as "squirting" is not ;)
Yes, but just like the article states it is giving censors an excuse to make squirting illegal in some areas, because technically it is pee.
"In recent months, this uncertainty has even given ammunition to censors in the UK, where squirting was one of a number of practices that was banned in porn . Because no one could say definitively whether it was piss, government busybodies were apparently bound to assume it fell under the category of "urolagnia," which is considered obscene."
So with further research it could become something added to the list of "illegal" acts on cam. I sure hope not though!!
I'M SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT THIS FUCKING ARTICLE IS SO POORLY WRITTEN AND THE STUDY IS SUCH A FUCKING JOKE I AM FUCKING YELLING BECAUSE OF THE MORONIC CONCLUSION. Are these men even really scientists? How did the article writer and these scientists decide to GENERALIZE this conclusion TO ALL WOMEN. Here is the pubmed link to the "scientific" study: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/?term=17634056 As you can see, the sample size of women is, and I kid you not, a grand total of TWO women in their 40's who claim to squirt about a cup of fluid. I am sorry but what fucking, massively lobotomized "scientist" would take a sample size of two women and literally come to the asinine conclusion that ALL woman squirt urine. FUCK Wimpissinger F1, Stifter K, Grin W, Stackl W. and whoever else decided to even put out this shit. FUCK you, seriously, I'm going to take their Ph.D's and shove it up their asses and conclude that they have no brains because all I need to do obviously is to have a sample size of four fucking moron "scientists" who do these so called "clinical studies" to come to a REAL conclusion from the hypothesis that you don't need intelligence or common sense to be an expert on women's anatomy. UGH. Shudder. Unbelievable.
To be fair I think this is the referenced study :)

^^ that one isn't much better....oh wow a total of SEVEN women!
I highly recommend reading, "Women's Anatomy of Arousal".
As a super squirter, I'm of the opinion that...I don't know? I can squirt over 6 feet, but I have to pee first because any kid of bladder pressure makes it nearly impossible for me to do it. I think it's not pee because the longer I do a show the more I squirt, the more I stimulate, the stronger the stream, I'll start at 3 feet then work up, and though yes, I do understand the argument that there can't be that much liquid in the glands, the idea that my empty bladder is holding that much residual urine is also kind of unlikely. Also, and this is going to sound really weird, squirt comes out and its kind of...colder than urine? It feels different somehow.
whether or not it's pee, can I just say that I am super jealous of all you girlies that can do it like that lol. I'm practicing!
I dreamt of getting a sex change so I can wear super tight leggings to show off my big fat camel toes and most importantly, do real squirting so this just totally killed my dream!

mines not pee!! lol...i have a picture uploaded in my photos on sm. definitely not pee!!
I've watched a few "squirting" goldshows because I was curious. It's clearly coming out of their urethra and not their vagina. I just don't think it's possible to squirt across the room out of your vagina while you have a dildo shoved up there... human anatomy just doesn't work that way. Your urethra is right above your vagina... so if you have anything shoved up there it's going to act like a plug and affect the trajectory of a real squirt... if you are peeing, a dildo inside your vagina wouldn't affect the trajectory of the pee and you'd still spray with full force.
^^good point
The skene gland is located so close to the urethra it would be next to impossible to tell just from watching a woman squirt.
Apparently most of the anatomical drawings of female genitalia are incorrect and most of what we learn in school are from diagrams that haven't been updated since the 1800's because who the heck cares about female parts when the penis is so much more interesting and better funded for research.
