Re: Waveside Entertainment
They are studio. If you are looking to be a cam model then go directly to myfreecams (MFC) and streamate (SM)
if you want to have other models working under you then join them .
Re: Waveside Entertainment
oh wow, studios are getting sly
I checked out that site and clicked a few links; you're right-all of them are studio sign-up sites. what's interesting is that all the ones I checked actually linked to their sm whitelabels from the studio sign-up website, I guess to give the appearance of legitimacy and make it appear as if the studios actually own the sites.
but yeah OP, avoid avoid avoid. for more info on what virtual studios are and why it's so important to avoid em where possible please check out
the direct sign-up URL for sm is:
Re: Waveside Entertainment
So, who is waveside entertainment a studio for? I like their sites.
Re: Waveside Entertainment
DONT DO IT! Most virtual studios are pointless. And this is a SM studio.
If you need a studio to be paid daily or whatever reason, check out this camgirl owned studio: https://www.stripperweb.com/forum/sh...ght=instantpay

waveside features a whole bunch of different streamate whitelabels, as well as iframes on other sites to make em look like cam sites. all of them are different designs, but it's the same exact models streaming on each site
is the original site, and the direct sign up link is the URL I posted above (). if you sign up directly to streamate you'll earn a higher percentage than you would if you signed up through a virtual studio like waveside, because you won't be giving some parasitic middle man a cut of your earnings
god, I just noticed a bunch of the studio sign-up sites have model forums. there are actually posts in em, makes me sick to think about so many cammers getting so ripped off

So far I've come to the following:
MFC has a 50% payout, but that much free chat is annoying. And.. no couples.
SM - 30+ payout (percentage rises upon amount of money made, like bonuses for being a good employee) couples allowed
Waveside....Same payout as SM and couples. But I haven't heard about any info here.
Thoughts Please.
SM does this, or do you mean LJ?

The studios do that.
Basically they promise to give you a higher percent if you make above a certain amount (but they never mention that you would have gotten 35% and kept it all if signed directly and you weren't conned into letting them steal 5 to 15% of your earnings).

LOL are you a studio rep? Strange that this thread is your first and only post here. If so you picked the wrong place to try to trick cam hosts into signing up through you.
They do not have ANY sites.
They put up whitelabels that lead to the actual sites to keep you from signing up directly so they can steal part of your pay.

As this was my first thread, you should be welcoming me to the site. Not making me feel like I can't ask a legit question going into this business. Are you a rep trying to shame me? Wow. I read hundreds of posts tonight, SMART, and Insightful posts, and when I decide to post because I couldn't find an answer that I was looking for, .... THIS is what I get. How many other girls have you done this to laurielegs? not one part of my original question sounds like I know what i'm talking about! Geez Louise!
THANKS TO THE REST OF YOU WHO HAD INSIGHTFUL AND HELPFUL INFORMATION. I guess the sites are like are called White Pages or "landing Pages" owned by a studio, in this case WaveSide. The Parent Company is Streamate. I really thought WaveSide was a Parent Company. As a couple, I'm going to go with Streamate, I don't need to look further (unless you all suggest otherwise for couples). but for others who may read this, how can one tell if it's a studio through their white page?

After doing this for a while, you just kind of get to recognize them. It's really hard to tell sometimes if it's a white label and/or studio or not.
The easiest way is to go to the known main sites: streamate, MFC, Livejasmin, etc and if you see the EXACT same models on the site at that moment, it's a studio and or white label.

To be fair, studio reps do that all the time. Their first post will be about their studio, to get their name out there. Our walls are high. So don't take it personal. I thought the same too. There is a pattern. So if you are telling the truth, don't take it the hard way.

I had that thought as well, the most common form of studio spam these days since sw started auto-banning IM reps is new 'camgirls' joining the site to ask for advice ;) about working for sites that turn out to be their studios. tbh OP, initially I figured you were the site owner too
like everywhere on the net sw has it's fair share of bullies and peeps who like to take out their frustrations on others, particularly newer members (and those peeps get infractions when they do so) but Laurie isn't one of them. She's helpful, smart as hell and kind; she never attacks others. All she did was post what a lot of peeps were already wondering, so please don't take it as a personal affront.
I'm really glad that you posted asking about waveside, if only because you'll pocket so much extra $$$$$ in signing up to sm directly. an added bonus, this thread will get indexed in the search engines so that any chica googling for info about the site will find this info on why she should avoid it
welcome to sw :)
Re: Waveside Entertainment
Thank you ladies who defended me, but on looking back at my post I was too harsh in the way I phrased things. I had a knee jerk reaction and even though I hate those types of studios and their sleazy reps I shouldn't have assumed TamTam was a rep.
I apologize for being so harsh TamTam and I'm happy you didn't sign up with that crappy studio and will get to keep all your money!
Re: Waveside Entertainment
Well you know what they say about assuming. Use your ass to make $$$ :D
<3<3<3 You are all good Laurie! You just said what the rest of us was thinking. No harm done! :D
Re: Waveside Entertainment
Thank you LaurieLegs! Apology Appreciated. Since I've been doing my homework, I see that a lot of girls that have been doing this for a while become well versed in this business and know all of the ins and outs, unlike us potential newbies. When I owned my restaurants......I assumed certain stereotypical customers where trying to get a free meal because that's usually what they do. So I understand. I do have another question though. In reading up on protecting privacy and percentages, would it be in my best interest to go under a business name, S-Corp, file with streamate as a studio (but only employ myself and my partner as a couple)? Would we get a bigger percentage, or would we have to hire more than two people (us). I'm not looking to hire anyone else because I don't want the drama. I've tried to look online to see if that is even beneficial, or even possible, but all I keep reading is how you shouldn't work for a studio. Just looking to set this up the best way possible. I've read on some sites that you need at least 4 people working for you (again, not looking to do that), but streamate....I haven't seen any info. Thanks for your help.
Re: Waveside Entertainment
I signed up with Waveside accidentally-how do I get out of it just tell them I quit? can I then resign up for stream mate directly immediately after?
They somehow changed my password on my dashboard so I cant change my own rates or take down pics I dont want without their permission! When I ask them how to change my password Jeannie just says oh I will Do it for you! How cann she get in and I can't?? and they are always asking me to have lower rates so I dont make much money after they steal their percentage for doing ??
Re: Waveside Entertainment
If you've already streamed for them for more than a week, then quitting means you're on time out from Streamate for 6 months. If you want to make up that money, there's quite a number of routes you can go while you do your time.
