What is a Virtual Assistant?
Printable View
I did TEFL years ago, haven't used it ever but it's good to have if I ever move abroad!
I was looking into Leapforce... they won't let me submit an application without a resume. Those of you who have worked for them, what did you put on your resume? I am really, really bad at creating them! :-/
Ive replied to this before. Im completing my TEFL with the International TEFL Academy and can't recommend them highly enough. I'm now living in Santiago Chile and TEFL and Camming allowed me to semi retire from my serious career to do what I like these days. Please do look them up

A virtual assistant is someone who basically is an assistant over the internet instead of in person, so you can live half way across the world from someone and still be their assistant. One person I know has a virtual assistant that helps him organize his emails to "High" and "Low" priority and sorts out of junk and spam. Other things you might do would be replying to emails, creating spreadsheets, etc.
Front End Web Developer, Graphic Artist, "erotic vigilante", budding hacker n00b
I didn't learn this in college nor do I have a degree but after holding a position at a print making store it become evident I had the equivalent of a Master's in web programming.
I taught myself HTML and using Photoshop at 13. HTML wasn't difficult when I was 13 so I was able to evolve with advances and trends in site design as I grew older. Coding became a hobby.
Then came CMS applications making me something of a rarity as a developer since so many have become reliant on WYSIWYG interfaces as it makes it easier for someone not fluent in any programming language to manipulate a website. There's also been popularity with templates but I stick to creating everything from scratch.
I approached the whole thing as an artist wanting a different way to present multiple mediums and the ability to share it with pretty much anyone. A website is practically the best format for that as it incorporates audio, video, writing, interactivity, visual arts, etc.
My dream really is to start something incredibly unique and genuine in the online adult world that appeals to the sapiosexual, hedonistic, tenacious type.
I continually learn something new and fortunately because of my early introduction into web development I pick up on things rather quickly.
I have an eventual goal of learning after effects because that shit looks cool.
Truly though, I want to be a resource to other online performers and hopefully be able to have a site that the models created collectively and run as such.
Yep, I'm going to go into this a bit more. :)
Bump!
Sorry, I never saw you replied to me! I've been writing erotica for several years now off and on. I'm not currently making enough to live on, but I've been pretty inconsistent with it, so it's my own fault. I probably have around... 40ish titles published so far, each one averaging 5k words or so. Right now I'm moving on from erotica and working on romance novels. Amazon Kindle, as well as other platforms like Barnes & Noble, have made it possible for writers to make good money writing & self-publishing. Erotica and romance is the most profitable genre with the most voracious readers. If you want to get into it, I'd recommend reading a guidebook like this one: http://www.amazon.com/Publishing-Ero.../dp/B00VUKNMWM
It's absolutely not a "get rich quick" thing but if you already have a passion for writing like I do, you may want to look into it. :)
