Quick question before my audition?
Ok I'm auditioning at Deja Vu Showgirls Wednesday or Thursday. I'm super excited! I bought the cutest leopard print bra, black Lacey panties, and a black thong. When/if I get hired, do I walk around the club just in these or should I buy a top and bottoms? Please keep in mind I'm very tight on money (obviously why I'm starting) so please suggest what kind of top and bottom. I know there are probably stickies on this but I can't find one that properly describes clothing, other than stuff that's "easy to remove." Please be specific!
Re: Quick question before my audition?
Different clubs the world over have different expectations re. outfits. What you have may be enough or, you may be able to buy an old outfit cheaply from a dancer on shift.
Ebay has many very cheap options (quality is variable) which can be replaced as you make money, a portion of weekly earnings should go toward building a dancer wardrobe. Obv. you need to spend money to make money or if you can sew you could possiby alter something you already own or bought at an Op Shop.
I suggest either calling the club and asking what they expect dancers to wear on the shift/s you will be working or go to the club and check out what the dancers are wearing (bearing in mind this can still change depending on the time/night/theme as it does at my club).
There may also be expectations re. gstring coverage but I cannot answer that one for you.
Re: Quick question before my audition?
It would depend on the club and how much you're allowed to show. Most would allow the bra and pantie combo, but make sure.
If not, I've always gone to Body Central (dunno if you have one by you) but they sell lingerie full cover tops for like $15. They're cute and they have lasted me longer than other "stripper" lingerie.
Re: Quick question before my audition?
^ apparently they're in liquidation.
