Club only auditions on Amateur Night? Normal?
I got myself all dolled up, my bag packed with everything I'd need. But when I went in to ask to audition, they said they only do that Sundays on Amateur Night :(
This is a local Deja Vu Showgirls, and the NICEST club in town. I HAVE to work here but I'm scared if I don't win I won't get hired since I'm obviously a newbie. I'm just worried they told me that because they didn't like me :(
Side note, I turned heads when I walked in as 2 of the customers (older men in business suits) were paying the entrance fee and they were smiling at me, that's a good sign right? :D

Sometimes it happens. I worked at one club that hires through amateur night every Monday and another club would only let me audition during their amateur night which was only once a month.

Maybe try a club that isn't THE nicest first. Learn your hustle, get familiar with the pole, then walk into Deja Vu with a few weeks with experience. After working at our 2nd nicest club in the area (with a few weeks of experience elsewhere) I can tell you I would've been petrified starting there with such strong hustlers/dancers.
It's common for a place like that to only allow auditions on a Sunday/Monday/slow night, I wouldn't take it personally.
